Subscription to XBox Live ended before the 3 month period

Hello

I bought a 3 month XBOX Live Gold card back in May. The due date is end of August and my son is not allowed anymore to continue playing unless we renew it now.

This problem arised 10 days ago.

Why if we still have until the end of this month, he can not continue playing ??

Renew 3 Month Xbox Live Gold Membership: Available only to participants who are Xbox Live Gold members renewing their Gold subscription as of the Program start date. Participants must be Xbox Live Gold members at the time of renewal. Xbox Live Free members
and Xbox Live Trial Gold members purchasing a subscription are not eligible. Each three (3) month Xbox Live Gold membership purchased during the Program Period will earn thirty (30) Microsoft Points, up to a maximum of one hundred-twenty (120) Microsoft Points
during a twelve (12) month period. To renew your Xbox Live Gold subscription, either redeem a Prepaid Live Gold subscription, purchase a subscription from your Xbox 360 console’s Dashboard, or visit
www.xbox.com/.../Membership during the Program Period. Users of Prepaid Live Gold subscriptions will be credited upon actual renewal date, defined as the time the previous subscription
would have expired.

So basically, if you've already redeemed 4 3 month cards during the last 12 months, you are only able to earn a maximum of 120 points. That could explain why you are missing points.

i had the same problem myself and when i contacted xbox support they said to uninstall my account from the console and reinstall it, if that doesnt work then definitely call them, and you will need to confirm your email address to verify that the account
is yours.

you can cancel anytime within the 3 month trial. Your trial will then continue until the trial period ends. After that it will cease. If you continue and end up paying for another month, yo7 can still cancel that and subscription will cease at the end of
the payed period.

It depends how much xbox live you had before converting to Ultimate.

If you bought a month of live on 12/1/19, that would cover you until the end of the month (for simplicity).

You then bought take advantage of the 3 months of Ultimate for $1; this gets added to your xbox live and extends your total subscription to the end of March, so an additional 3 months / 4 months in total.

if you have turned of auto renew, you should not get charged and your Live should just expire after the three months period. You can check your subscriptions here: HTTPS://account.microsoft.com

Removing your credit card will not end your subscription before its end date.

Microsoft rewads is legit, I use it to get Xbox Live and have up to now redeemed 27 months worth.
