Subscription, recurring bill

I would like to know how i change my subscription, also how to turn off the recurring bill, Ive been fighting with the microsoft page for the past 45 minutes because it will not allow me to purchase a 1 month subscription after ive paid for numerous 1
year subscriptions i frequently spend money on microsoft i do not understand why it will not allow me to buy the one month when i just dont have the coin to continue with the one year at this time, i never have had to do this with the ps4 and ps plus they
took the money no matter what the subscription was for 1 month or 1 year there never should of been recurring bill i paid with a gift card every time just like i tried to with this one and wasnt allowed i would like a tech to walk me thru this nonsense bc
the page is not helping its like a never ending cirlce trying to cancel me subscription or recurring bill and i would hate to have to switch back to sony because they have never been this difficult and microsoft makes me scratch my head
