    Subscription paid, but no XBox Live


    Greetings;

    I have come across an issue after renewing my 1-month Xbox Live subscription. May Account shows that I have a 1-month subscription, and my checking account shows that the $9.99 was withdrawn for the renewal by Microsoft on the date of the renewal.

    However, my Xbox One does not allow me to access any Xbox Live content. Any attempts at online play for any of my games are met with notifications that ell me I do not have access. This is not an issue worth online connectivity, as I have been able to update
    certain game as well as the Xbox One itself via internet.

    The Live subscription renewed on 06/2/2016 (June 2, 2016), and I was billed the $9.99 on 06/3/2016. However, I did not investigate the issue until now (06/21/2016) as I simply assumed that the subscription had ceased (I had initially only used a free 1-month
    trial subscription, after which I lost access to X-Box live). Furthermore, whenever I attempt to purchase a monthly subscription, I am told that "This account can only have one of those". In effect, I have paid for a month of Xbox live that I never received.

    Assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    Heya Moody True.

    Sorry to hear the trouble. Since this began have you tried a full power cycle on your Xbox One to see if there is any change with what you can access? To power cycle your Xbox One hold down the power button for 8-10 seconds until it shuts off, then try accessing
    Xbox Live content again.

    Let us know how it goes.

    Error code is displayed when trying to use a pre paid Xbox Live subscription code when your Xbox Live gold is still in effect. You must wait for the subscription period to end before you can use the code. Pre Paid subscription codes cannot be used to extend
    an Xbox Live subscription, only activate it

    • You can’t stack prepaid codes for Xbox Live Gold trial subscriptions from games or console bundles. This means that you can’t start another trial period before your current trial period has finished. However, you can purchase a new paid Xbox Live Gold subscription
      and start the subscription at any time during the trial period.
    • If you don’t currently have a paid Xbox Live Gold subscription, there is no limit to the number of times you can use this type of Xbox Live Gold trial subscription.

    account for it. If you don’t want a paid Xbox Live Gold subscription after your Xbox Live Gold trial subscription ends, you will need to cancel it.
