    Hi, I have Xbox ultimate and it's always worked across all family members linked to my account. But now it only works on my account. I don't know how to fix this or why it's suddenly changed.

    Any advice appreciated

    Ok, well that's what's going on. Makes sense as it's been intermittent over the last few months but it's probably all down to them choosing cloud gaming and not realising it.

    Hi,

    Good to know it's not me messing with the child settings that has caused this.

    We have performed this reset multiple times without success. Just did it again and no joy.

    The console is still set up as home and I'm logged in and have the ultimate subscription. But my family members don't have the ultimate subscription.

    Ok, so after some more investigation we've found that game pass is working on the other accounts and that you can install and play games, but cloud gaming which we have previously used to run MSFS 2020 on, is only available on my account which is the one paying. Is cloud gaming supposed to be available on all accounts or just the paying one?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    Just a friendly reminder though that setting up a family group setting does not mean that the game and subscriptions will be shared to their account, it is a feature where you can manage a child account.

    Are you on the Xbox console? If yes, to get this fixed, you need to set your account as Home Xbox on the console in that way all profiles logged in to the console will be able to use your subscriptions and games.

    2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    3. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

    4. Check "Make this as My Home Xbox"."

    Oh, that's why. Sorry but cloud gaming is only available for the account that has an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
