I sincerely apologize, Zaylen. However, it is not possible to mod Subnautica on Xbox consoles since there is no official mod that supports Subnautica on Xbox consoles.

If a game support mods, you should be able to see an option to enable the mod or a message that says "this game supports mods"

You can try use that vortex app, but please be aware of this statement:

"Mods are not owned, operated, or tested by Microsoft. Microsoft is not responsible for game mods or actions taken by mods installed on your device."

But if I recall correctly, the option was available in the past, but now the ability to use mods for supported games has disappeared.

To make it short, it seems that the feature is not available right now / has been disabled

So, is not possible to do it.
