Subnautica - I don't have my cloud saves.

I'm trying to play Subnautica over the cloud on my Xbox One because my original Xbox has performance issues and I'm having the cloud save sync issue.

Actually, you're incredibly wrong. It's well known that they implemented could saves for Subnautica. I'm having the same issue as OP, and no matter what I do I can't even start a NEW game without the cloud save.,

There is a difference between cloud saves, which you reference, and cross-platform saves, which I reference above. Cloud saves are when your save data is backed up in the cloud and accessible if, say, you switch consoles or log into a different PC. But that does not mean that the console and PC share the same save data. That, is cross-platform saving.

Cloud saves are supported by Subnautica. Cross-platform saving is not. This is confirmed by a Subnautica team member in my above comment.

If either yourself or the OP continue to have trouble with saving your Subnautica data, I recommend that you reach out to their support team for further assistance.

I have the same problem, and subnautica supports cloud save.

I can use my save game from xbox to pc, bit i cant upload my save game from pc to xbox and continue my game there.

I've tried contacting Subnautica and Xbox on twitter with no response, there are posts on the subnautica forums about this with no official responses, and I've submitted "feedback" in both the xbox and windows versions of the game with no responses. Did
you have any luck?

I tried a couple other "Play anywhere" games on Xbox and Windows, and cloud saves just worked. But the thing I noticed with the other games on Windows is that there was an option within the game to login to my live account. I received an email notification
about an app being given permission to access my live.com account info for all of these games - Subnautica, Enter the Gungeon and Super Lucky's Tale. So I'm certain that some Subnautica saves are in my live.com cloud account, but they definitely don't show
up cross-platform.

I have recently wondered if the issue is game versions. The latest Xbox version of the game is from February 2019, but the Windows version was just recently updated. Maybe this issue didn't appear until recently when the versions started being different
- I read somewhere that the Xbox version of the most recent update is still being developed.

Unfortunately this solution only works for the few that have bad overall internet connection for the rest of us with fiber internet and new Xboxes I'm sure it's just subnautica being broken as the guy said below zero syncs just fine subnautica does not I wish they would have just left Cloud out of the equation or at least given us the option to play and load saved off my hard drive
