Submitting privacy and online settings greys out button and doesn’t submit

Hi,

When editing family online privacy settings for xbox, clicking save doesn’s submit. The button becomes geyed out snd unclickable. No error code.

I can’t remember the exact message right now as I am not on forza. I do remember that it specifically mentions that it’s because of my privacy settings though.

Unfortunately, I don’t have xbox live on the child account. Because of this, I won’t be able to test if multiplayer works on the xbox one.

As per the original question, more than likely the reason that you were unable to submit those settings would be because those settings were already set on the account.

As for the inability to play multiplayer within Forza Horizon 4 on your PC, what error are you receiving that brought up changing the privacy and online safety settings for the account?

Can you clarify this and get back to us with this information?

That’s odd! The setting which I’m trying to change on PC is already enabled on my Xbox! However, forza horizon 4 on the PC still won’t let me join multiplayer games.

We apologize for the continuing issue but rest assured we are here to help. We suggest trying to change the settings on the console itself,
ON THE CONSOLE go to settings>account>family>family>(Select the child account). Once there, it will prompt privacy and online safety>Xbox Live Privacy. This will give some options like child, teen, adult, or custom. Give it a shot and let us
know how it goes!
