So I was banned for harassment, abuse and threats for a very long period (15 days) and submitted a case review, because it is a very long period for a first time and I really do not recall doing any of that. Naturally I submitted a case review, and they
just decided to upheld the decision with no explanation whatsoever. Pretty useful team, the Xbox Live Enforcement.

    :)

how to contact someone about enforcement action

If you submitted a case review and they upheld their decision, there is nothing else you can do.

If you already submitted a case review and the enforcement team upheld their decision, there is nothing else you can do.

Many years ago when the Enforcement Team had their own subsection of the forum, they actually would give out the reason people were banned.

It was amazing to see how many people who had 'done nothing' or didn't recall doing anything wrong, had in fact been giving other people over Live quite a lot of abuse.

Perhaps the best suggestion is to take a step back and look at how you interact with people over Live. What sort of language do you use when winning or losing, do you pick on the weaker players by voice and text?

It is worth remembering that what you may consider abuse or harassment, may not be what others consider those to be. That is why it is best to follow the rules of Live and try to keep your interactions to E for Everyone levels.

The Enforcement Team won't ban you for the occasional "oh ****" slip of the tongue.

  5. Sorry to hear about that Mr. Ex-president. I was also suspended as well in the same manner as you yesterday. Hell, it was probably the same guy. As for Zen, you seem to be assuming an awful lot about a situation you don't know about. Everyone who plays a
MOBA gets messages after every other match just as you described every other game. People giving up prematurely or after having their team let them die/spam in-game harassment. I have reported plenty of people for clear harassment towards myself and nothing
comes of it most of the time. Why doesn't the Enforcement Team state the reasons or evidence anymore anyway? I was threatened by some guy in his late 20's years ago and they told me I was in the wrong as well for joking that he should kill himself before he
finished 'tracing my connection to find my house and shooting it up' because it would be less inconvenient for him than being detained if he did show up. I was in the wrong for being harassed over killing a guy in a Team Deathmatch two or three times when
he was clearly the aggressor abusing his privileges and threatening minors because I made a grim joke about suicide while he threatened to MURDER me and my family. Note that this was probably 5 or so years ago so I was like 15. If you ask me then the reason
they don't give evidence anymore is to cover their own {insert here} from lazy or biased decisions from their team. Now they can just say: 'Oh, well you probably did something to someone at some point so don't bother trying to appeal'. Instead of proving that
(in at least some situations) their employees didn't just suspend everyone involved out of negligence as I heavily suspect was true in that case.

They've never given evidence except in a few circumstances. It clearly states in the ToU/CoC that the enforcement team are under no obligation to give or show any evidence that they have.

Op & you have been given the reason for the suspension, the op has even posted the reason why they were suspended & it will also tell you in the email that is sent to you when you receive any type of enforcement action.

What Zen posted is exactly right.

  7. Daft buddy, how would you go about appealing a ticket if a cop showed up out of nowhere and handing you one citing it was for 'driving improperly' at an undisclosed point in time if you do not believe that you did? It is entirely unreasonable to expect
anyone to win an appeal with such vague terms so why not remove the function altogether?

  9. You could fight it pretty easily to be honest.

Make a request for the dashcam and vest camera (if the officer was wearing one) footage. The ticket information would also tell you where you were seen driving improperly, making a request of witnesses and possible CCTV footage also somewhat simple.

I am I confess a little torn on this subject. I can understand why Microsoft don't give out details, it could help people work out ways around the system. On the other hand I don't believe that the Enforcement Team is infallible, and the current system lets
    them claim to be so.
