You continue to have issue with xbox one reading discs, you tell you customers too bad so sad your out of warranty and it's because your poor hardware. When are you guys going to fess up and admit your having disc read issue and support your loyal customer
base. Tisk tisk Microsoft, get with the times, it's about taking care of the customer because there's just too many options out there for us, Playstation, Apple, Android? What sets you apart? Not your customer service apparently. Are you that confident
in your product that you think you can tell your customers too bad so sad? Not a good move from a customer stand point. Hopefully you get some executives in place that understand what's driving business Now a days because as of right now you are out of touch
    and have lost focus.

    - One of your longest customers who also owns almost all of your pruducts and continues to defend your sub par mobile devices and your glitch OS.

    :)

I have the Xbox One console purchased on Day one, and have been disenfranchised as a customer of Microsoft.

I started reporting issues with my system not recognizing certain bluray movie discs in March of 2014. I continued to report these problems until just a few days ago. I reported that these were new discs in perfect condition, and they work with no issue
on my PS3 and my other bluray player on my other TV setup. I went through all the troubleshooting each time only to be told that they would report the specific movies I was having trouble with an there should be an update to resolve the problem.

They told me the system did not need repair, except for my last contact.

After the troubleshooting for my last contact a few days ago they stated that I needed to send the system in for repair. They also stated that since my warranty expired in February 2015, that I would need to pay $115 for the repair.

They confirmed my previous contacts about the issue prior to the warranty expiration, yet still refused to warranty the persistent issue with the system.

I have supported Xbox since 2001 when the first Xbox was released. I bought the first edition of the 360 in 2005, and the firs edition of the Xbox one. I bought a couple others along the way, and still have an unopened 360.

I have always had multiple Xbox live accounts since 2005, and have always paid with autopay. My kids wanted to play without the limitations of being a guest.

Since this issue was put off by support until the warranty expired I have been disenfranchised as a customer and have removed Autopay from my Xbox live accounts. I will not renew even with free credits as this is the worst experience of customer service
    I have ever encountered.

I have really only had one other tech support experience with this company. That was due to the red ring issue with the Xbox360, and since they had extended the warranty for them, they happily covered the repair.

Too bad they lost that desire to treat the customer right. I did not ask for something that happened for the first time or that I had turned down suggested repair previously. I just wanted the correct course of action in this situation.

    DID NOT HAPPEN.

My Xbox Live gamertags are set to expire early next year, Since they do not refund unused time for that service I will play them out, but will be done with Xbox from that point on.

  5. Ya good luck, I never got any calls back. It not right that they are making their customers pay for their issues and poor hardware. What's sad is they say there is nothing they can do about being out of warranty, which working for a customer facing multi
billion dollar company there is always a way around things just need some to say yes, yet they refuse to bed their rules to take care of their customers. Probably out of fear that they know they have a flat product and they don't want to avoid the cost to
fix their own problems. It's sad how much I hyped Microsoft up until this experience and as of late it's been real tough being on the Microsoft bandwagon because let's be honest between companies like Apple and OS like Android, Microsofts products are inferior.
Highly dissapointed in you lack of care for the customer Microsoft.

    Hey there Kevin!

I am truly sorry to hear about the disc read issue and I can definitely understand how frustrating that could be. If your console is continuing to experience issues with playing multiple discs including games, then I recommend having your Xbox One console
repaired. You can request a repair through our Online Service center. If your console is experiencing the issue with only certain Blu-ray discs, I recommend going through the troubleshooting
steps listed in our How to troubleshoot problems playing a disc on your Xbox One console page.
Also, to help narrow down the issue, I recommend trying to play the affected discs on a different Xbox One console if possible.

Once again, I am truly sorry to hear about this negative experience and any inconveniences this may have caused. Be sure to post back letting us know the results after trying the suggested steps. In the future, please create your own thread and do not
bump multiple threads. This way we can provide individual support specifically tailored to you. Thanks in advance!

I to have an issue with their support. My xbox one drive tray gave in just 6 weeks after the warranty expired (U know the "coffee grinder noise"disc fault) After a long winded phone call with them they said that I still have to pay to have the repair done
on what was a manufacturer defect that they were aware of.

    POOR SERVICE

    A COMPLETE LACK OF CARE

AN IGNORANCE TO THE PLIGHT OF THE CUSTOMER, all of this has left a bitter taste in my mouth.

SHAME ON YOU ALL MICROSOFT!! YOUR DISGUSTING TREATMENT HAS TURNED AWAY WHAT WAS A LOYAL CUSTOMER.

Im going out to buy a PS4 now
