your description sounded good, but that video is so badly done I got bored after 1 minute and the fella narrating is truly awful.

It also looked very linear, the bit at the start it says you can't take on 3 humans, so you "have to work around"

(looked a little fable to me though)

More like the original "Fable" meets "Of Orcs and Men" with the player getting to play as one of those little guys who fires the Needler in "Halo".

I suppose it's no surprise that Cyanide made "Of Orcs and Men" as well as this. I'm also supposing that they're using the exact same game engine as on the 360.

While the "Amber flowing through his veins" lighting up to show that you're concealed by shadow... it just seems to defy the stealth convention that you should light up in the dark.

Playing as a disposable enemy, bad graphics, basic level design and a stealth mechanic that is essentially the "Gears Of War" cover system.

I can't really call that a 'good impression'.

I'm sure Styx was the Goblin you played as in Of Orcs & Men.

Looks ok but not my cup of tea,not into stealthy stuff.

The commentry is a bit bad on that vid though.

I just finished my first play through and I have to say, it was really good, especially for the price I paid.

The story is actually quite intricate and I loved the ending, I can see how some people had issues with controls before the patch as grabbing the ledges can be hit and miss, but only when climbing upwards, so it's really minor and maybe the angle is more
to blame than anything.

One tip I definitely have is that your 'vision' and 'clone' powers can be used without cost to your amber as long as the clone doesn't die or you use another power while in your vision. I was probably half way through the game before I noticed that and not
sure if it tells you anywhere, but using the vision helps so much when looking at what path to take.

Also just reminder to keep two manual saves and regularly alternate between them, I do this for a lot of games, but never use the back up save. I would go back two saves regularly in this game. Anyway, hope you enjoy it when you get around to it!

I just thought I'd report back that I started this and I personally think it's actually really good, very solid stealth game and pretty much has everything I'd look for in such a game.

Number 1 being that you have manual saves which take you back to the exact spot you saved, always great for trying different methods for tough sections.

The world reminds me a lot of dishonoured and actually quite impressed at how nice some of it looks. I haven't had any issues with the controls so far, I guess that patch did its job!

Baring in mind it's just one persons opinion but my son purchased it on release, like brandiesel1 above, he said it can be quite tricky and frustrating but overall he enjoyed it, not the best game out there but it was fun as long as you have patience to
stick with it.

Quite tempted myself by this when I get a few other games finished off.

It's on sale for €12.00. I thought about buying it. I heard it was only ok. Supposedly it can be quite frustrating.
