    Ever since the new User Experience update rolled out many of us have been having problems with stuttering video when watching TV. Seems to be memory related since most of the time it can be resolved by closing down any open apps or games you might have.
    It seems to only impact content coming through the HDMI pass through since you can still watch Netflix, Amazon Video, HBOGo, etc without stutter even when content coming through HDMI (cable/satellite) is having a problem.

    Will this ever be fixed? Seems to be a known issue on the boards but I can't find any official acknowledgement from M$ or any commitment to fix it.

    I have the original xbox one not the s. It seem like this started after the last system update. I'm having video stuttering or lag while playing video on Netflix and while playing games. Iv tried power cycling and unplugging.

    If you have just recorded the clip it will stutter as it is getting processed in the background. This is why your pre-recorded videos don't do it.

    Give the video chance to process fully and try watching the video again, does the video stutter still?

    yes they still stutter, anything post update stutters, anything pre does not. Just to clarify, its just video stutter not sound and only when played on tablet/phone. When you select the video and play it on xbox they play fine but if you just highlight it
    and watch the preview it does exactly the same as tablet/phone.
