    Stuttering Video - Getting Worse - Unusable


    VUDU, Netflix, Live TV etc are all having serious TV stuttering / tearing issues. I'm at my wits end with this and I am very close to training the family to start using the built in smart tv apps because they don't show any issues in fact, they simply look
    better.

    1. Multiple apps have this problem so it appears to be pure video playback related.

    2. Internet has plenty of bandwidth.

    3. TV is top of the line so not the issue. (oled 4k 55")

    4. Never was a problem before win 10 update.

    5. Restarting (hard reset) sometimes helps but inevitable]y returns.

    6. I'm a gamer from waaaaay back so believe me when I say this fan boy is about to rage quit.

    Is there something in settings? Bad HDMI?

    I would be more than happy if this is a known issue and the XBOX team is working on it but frankly, this is a very serious issue and really undermines any momentum gained recently by MSFT with trying to dominate our livingrooms.

    Xbox One controller keeps drifting up

    I've been having a problem with my Xbox One controller it started to drift up and keeps getting worse it's making all my games unplayable and the home menu unusable is there any help to fix this please reply

    Neo, trust me you are not alone. I'm going to bump my thread I started on this. Microsoft supposedly is going to fix this issue with the Feb update.. but they have not been specific about it.. and here we are mid Feb with no update yet. I can't believe
    something this pervasive has gone unfixed this long, and all since the New Xbox Exp update which came out months ago now.

    Neo, this is a bug everyone has since the OS update. I'm told they are working on it, but they aren't sure what is the root cause although its something that's affecting most video apps on the system.

    Game clip stutter

    If you have just recorded the clip it will stutter as it is getting processed in the background. This is why your pre-recorded videos don't do it.

    Give the video chance to process fully and try watching the video again, does the video stutter still?

    Game streaming to Windows 10 stutters - but only for Destiny 2

    I tried streaming to a different device, a tablet with an Intel Core m7, Wireless N network. Oddly, this one is usable on all streaming levels except Very High (and even then, it doesn't stutter nearly as much as my desktop PC).

    Then I tried a laptop with an Intel Core i7, Nvidia Quadro graphics, Wireless N network. Also works fine, but only up to Medium (again, not too bad at higher levels, but less than ideal for gaming). I plugged in an Ethernet cable
    to the laptop, and on all levels, it was unusable, just like my desktop.

    Ironically, the worse scenarios work better, while the best scenario is totally unusable. Is there any different compression or anything that would cause this?

    I thought it might be the game at first too, especially since it's worse in-game compared to the menus, but this just seems very weird.
