We were doing the meth mission where you have to get the camper van ,

We killed all the first lot of gang members then jumped in the camper van and took off through the dessert. Then the passenger got killed and then the driver, the camper van then started driving in circles with the dead driver at the whhel slouched over
with his foot on the pedal.

We couldn't get the van to stop so had to run and steal a car and park it in front of the van. But by that time the reinforcement's had arrived and we quickly got killed.. Lol

i was doing lesters last mission that nets you profit from the gold coast stock. i tried throwing a grenade at the target. i was a victim of another grenade bounce back, that blew me off the building. too funny. i wish i could have recorded that.

 

I accidently hacked/activated an explosion an died JUST after completing a mission, bloody embarrassing!

 

The dumbest for me would be killing the target I am suppose to profile at a gang hideout. Sometimes I forget to open the Profiler and just start shooting and dont realize until its too late.

I also stepped off a parking garage trying to clear a hideout, like 4 times. I felt really stupid each time I did it.

 

I did one of those collect the gold coin mini games and had gotten all the way to the top of a real tall building. Ran right off the edge at the end. Durrrrp.

 

I made the same mistake as xXBOXxOne. Wasn't paying attention and I guess I was hack happy and accidentally hacked an explosive grate I was standing on.

 

Was doing a gang hideout and hacked an explosive on a guy. Was watching him thinking I had him, until he threw the bomb right on me. By the time I turned to run, the explosive I hacked killed me. Complete disbelief followed by laughing too hard.

 

^^Ive done that a couple of times myself.

 

Taking cover next to anything explosive in a gunfight is one of the lessons I have learned 'not' to do.

 

Same here. Doing a particular mission where reinforcements keep coming, I kept taking cover right against propane tanks and getting blown to crap, took me about 5 attempt's before I realised my stupidity. Also blown myself up with steam pipes.

 

Mine is along the same lines as a few others here. I was doing one of the ctOS missions where you have to "hack" 5 boxes in X amount of time, I was at the last one, but an explosive thing was right in front of it, I guess I was standing too close when I
hit it. =/

 

Actually have one to take the cake:

I had intruded on a fellow fixer and was hiding on a train platform. He could not find me for the life of him. Just as it was at 99%, I stepped a little too close to the train as it was pulling to a stop and it killed me. Must have been going 1 mph and
hit my toe a little to hard. Lame how it works like that.

 

i was doing the auction mission, as i was escaping there is an area that had a protector wall next to a exploding floor panel. i thought i was hacking the protector wall, but nope, i hacked the exploding wall panel. i also took cover next to a propane tank.
didn't realize until the second time i did it. the first time i blew up, i didn't understand why as i didn't hear a grenade. i saw the tank explode and kill me the second time.

 

I was doing one of the convoy side missions, I put one of those big moving vans in the road to block the path, then put 3 IED's lined up on the road. Then waited for them to drive up, the plan worked perfectly, they stopped right on the IED's and I blew
them all up sky high, then got a mission failure because I was supposed to knock the guy down instead of kill him....oops...
