Stupid **** Update

What the ****, why is that my xbox is the only one that's **** updating like 2-3 **** times this week while other people are not WHAT THE **** NO WONDER PLAYSTATION IS BETTER THAN THIS GARBAGE i bet they dont make their customers update they're **** system
every **** time you play that's **** especially when y'all not adding anything new it still the same **** as before so what the **** is wrong with this ****, no wonder alot of people pefer the PlayStation over this garbage my gamertag is and
this is a garbage ass system that i wouldn't recommend if you have to keep on updating your **** system i would rather get a ps4 or Nintendo switch at least they dont make you updated every now and then like wtf can yall update it like idk every year not every
2-5 times a week thats **** stupid especially when there's nothing new...so **** retarded who ever thought of this **** must be born retarded...another thing that stupid like yall creaters and supporters is that you can have xbox live if you dont update idk

Stupid updates

All I want to do is play the stupid game. Why can't I play the game, then let it update when I am done. But no, I have a stupid 2.2 GB update, that will take an hour, all I wanted was to play 30 minutes. Why is this not am an option. Update later.

No point in contacting anybody or asking for some form of redress when the update is MANDATORY. This means it's a system-wide configuration which *doesn't* have a reset button! Also take exception to the fact there's "nobody" in support because everytime
I've had a service issue, I've navigated the site (clicking upon support tabs wherever they appear) and it's always brought me to a LIVE operator. Unless of course these "virtual agents" you speak of are advanced Cortana algorithms. #gofigure

 

Contact Xbox support to let them teach you how to turn off auto update, if you don't know how to Bing search on how to do it.

Also refrain from using too much profanity in your words, Xbox and PS banned people for just saying an F Bomb.

Second if you read this page it says that play station does not have a case review process like Microsoft does

is that microsoft at least gives you a chance to appeal your suspension where if you read PSs FAQs about suspensions here

If you're part of the preview program, you will get updates a lot. Set your console it instant on mode and you'll never notice updates.

 

Ok, first breath, calm down.

You may want to check to see if one of two things (or possibly both) are active on your system:

1: Are you part of the preview program (if you are you will get OS updates more frequently)

2: Do you have auto update turned on (if not the console will only update the next time you switch it on, if its turned on it will update as soon as an update is released, even overnight)

Also, you do realise that all consoles update fairly frequently, this isn't just an Xbox thing.

Also, just because you don't see anything new in an update doesn't mean the update wasn't important.
