Stuck With 'Demo' Forever?

Just read all the info on Horizon 2, and it says we get a free WRX if we play the demo and then buy the game. As a freebie from a Forza franchise is rare nowadays, I'd love to snap it up. However being a bit of a neat freak, I don't want a 'Demo/Beta'
icon clogging up my previously downloaded list... So, do we reckon the full game will overwrite the demo tile or, as I expect, will we be stuck with a useless reminder forever? Sad as it sounds, I'd rather miss the free car!

Accidentally Bought Fable III on Demand

Hmmm, I see now that the "Demo" panel is gone. Perhaps they figured out their mistake, and yet here I am stuck with a $40 game I don't want.

 

What game should I buy!?

Out of the four that Blue listed, I would go with Reach. Haven't played the others. Tried the Black Ops demo, got stuck in the area where the walkway falls.

 

As with all the previous game demos, my guess is that the demo tile will remain on the list. If you do a simple search from the Feedback link in my signature, you will find a thread which asks for the ability to remove unwanted items from said list. Add

I can't think of anything that would stop you from deleting the demo after you get the free WRX?

 

You can delete them Crunch. I think he is talking about the fact it will still show under the "ready to download" area under the games app.

 

Thanks for the replies, as I expected though, I'd be stuck with the useless tile forever... Which will only wind me up!

I'll give it a miss then as I've already pre-purchased the game, I can live without a free Subaru to save my sanity, ha ha!

I've also added my vote to two or three suggestions on the XBox Feedback site to gain the ability to remove demos/betas. They have a tendency to merge similar ideas so I suppose that's a few more votes towards a solution.

I downloaded and installed the Destiny Beta. Just the other day - I went into My Games and Apps. I uninstalled the beta, then I deleted it. It does not show up in my "waiting to be installed list". It's completely gone from the console as far as I can tell.

I don't see why there would be any problem downloading the H2 demo and then removing it entirely from the console later on.
