Stuck on xbox logo screen

We bought a brand new Xbox one 1 week ago for my son. He opened it on xmas day and it worked fine for about 7-8 hours (there was a bit of lagging when he played FIFA 15 and CALL OF DUTY advanced warfare online, and a couple of issues trying to sign in but
apart from this there was no obvious issues). My son then turned off the console and then returned to play games again a couple hours later. But after turning it on all it displayed was a blank screen. 1 - 2 hours later after trying the manual reboot of the
console i.e. press the on/off button on console for 10secs, it then displayed the xbox one logo on green screen with 3 dots lighting up 1 at a time. It has now been on this screen for almost 4 hours! I called xbox support and was told that this issue was affecting
all xbox one users worldwide and that we just had to wait until engineers fiX the problem - no turnaround time given!!!! Is anyone else stuck on the same green xbox logo screen with the 3 dots?? Should I get this console replaced?

hi went to turn my xbox one and it took 30 minutes to go from black screen to xbox logo and its now been on the logo for 3 hours is there a fix for this

So no answer on the Xbox support forums. Ive barley had the Xbox a month and I get ******over should have gone Playstation instead

 

Has this issue been resolved or you? My screen is similarly locked. We played several different games yesterday and today. The game froze (downloaded Assassin's Creed Black Flag). We turned the system off and back on and the Green Screen of death appeared.

 

Unfortunately the issue still exists. Still stuck on the same green screen with the xbox logo and 3 dot's stI'll lighting up. Does this mean it's still rebooting??? This is very frustrating! Has yours managed to get back up and running?

 

I'm experiencing the same problem. It began yesterday on Christmas. Early in the morning my Xbox One worked fine, but wouldn't connect to live. Then after connecting my new headset and changing settings, I turned on the console and it started with a green
screen that shows the xbox logo and three dots that load. This screen appeared for a few seconds and then it went black. I have waited for 30 minutes and the screen still stays black. After countless tries of power-cycling, trying different HDMI cables and
ports it randomly worked once yesterday and I could connect to Xbox Live. Although, after turning off the console the problem reoccurred and didn't work the rest of Christmas night or at all today. I have continued to try to power-cycle it and troubleshoot
it, but it continues to go to a black screen. Any solution to fix this problem from Xbox support would be helpful. Thank you.

 

When I had the xbox one working after the black screen, Netflix was freezing on me so I turned off the console and tried to turn it on, but that's when the problem reoccurred. I hope this problem gets some more recognition and gets fixed because it seems
that it's been happening to a lot of users recently.
