Stuck on what headset to get for xbox one :/

I don't know if i should stick with my TB XL1 and buy the adapter

Or get the XO4 or XO7 or even the titanfall headset

see am not a brain *** to know which one is suited best for gaming

i don't want to spend loads but i dont want a cheap crappy headset

I really like the Titanfall headset but am just unsure

please advise on which headset would be good for me.I play Titanfall and cod

i really want one where i can plug it straight into the adapter and away we go lol

Xbox one stereo headset adapter

My Xbox one stereo headset adapter is stuck on mute and I have to update my controller with the adapter but it's still stuck on mute, any suggestions?

my Xbox one stereo headset adapter is stuck on mute I push the button and it doesn't work I try to update the controller it says it doesn't need to be updated please help me I don't know what to do I tried restarting my Xbox I did nothing I put the stereo
headset adapter and another controller and it just won't work it's stuck on mute and I can't Fix it help

 

How much are you willing to spend? Are you a competitive gamer. A hardcore gamer or just a laid back guy who loves a good solid match inwhich you are a involved teammate.

If competitive gamer or hardcore go with the xo7.

If you are laid back id go with a XBOX gaming headset just announcex a few weeks back. It provides mid to high end audio and chat communication at an affordable price below 80 dollars while not needing an adapter. It is also wireless except for the wire
to the controller.for mic volume and mute.

IMO the xp 400 and 500 provide a better sound and all around headset from TB. The TB tangos also are awesome as I use those for gaming. You need an adapter or a quick jaunt through youtube to come up with some better and cheaper chat modifications as I have
done.

First, I use a pair of Turtle Beach X12's with a DSS2 which gives me virtual surround sound.

I don't think you would notice much difference between the Titanfall and XL1 headset as they are both Stereo and the Bass Boost on the Titanfall Headset only works on the 360 and PC.

The XO4 is a good headset if you hate wires because it is wireless so you would have the freedom to move around without wires restricting you, however I have heard that wireless headsets can degrade in sound depending on how far away you sit (I am not sure
how true it is).

I think the only real difference between the XO4 and XO7 is that the XO7 have Noise-Isolating Memory Foam Ear Cushions and the price is higher.

All in all I think it comes down to how much you are willing to pay and if you would prefer wired or wireless headsets, if you are prone to distractions outside of the game then could get the XO7's which apparently stops you from getting distracted.

If you want me to do some more research I am quite happy to do so, the other thing is I am no way a sound expert. I hope this has helped you even a little a bit.

 

Xbox gaming headset will you hear footsteps?

XO4 so there wireless will i need to purchase the xbox one headset adapter at all?

i really only want to spend around £90 and below

just after a good clear headset and be able to hear frags being thrown and hear footsteps.

 

If you want a to know which direction your enemies are coming at you from then you will need a surround sound headset, I am not sure (but I think that you can) hear footsteps through Stereo headsets. Both the X04 and X07 are wireless and both come with the
headset adapter so you don't need to purchase that separately, the Titanfall headset also comes with the adapter as well. According to the GAME website the Titanfall headset is the cheapest and £69.99.

I picked up a pair of X42s which are wireless for £30 (second hand). Great condition. I booted up Battlefield 4 to test them out and was very impressed. Especially being wireless.

 

I should point out though that the adapter will be needed for chat purposes. Unless you are happy to mod the wiring.

 

Titanfall headset £119

id rather get the adapter don't want to mod anything.

Just stuck on which one to buy when i used my TB XL1 they were pretty dam good for cod.so i could just stick with them and get the adapter maybe.but i do like the look of the Titanfall headset

am guessing the Titanfall headset is wired then?

will it take much setting up or is it just a case of pluging the adapter in and away you go

 

The Titanfall headset is wired. To set it up from what I understand you plug the RCA cable into your T.V as the Xbox One only supports HDMI and Opitcal Out. Then you plug the Talkback cable into the adapter and then away you go, it's not that complicated
to set up so don't worry about it.

All the cables will come in the box although you may need extra cables if you T.V does not have the required ports. Now I have never set up or used a wireless headset before so I have had a look at the contents of the box and it seems from what I can gather
you just plug the headset into the adapter and boom your ready to so I would assume it transmits the signal to the controller. I am not sure if this exactly how it works, so don't take my word for it.

 

It's wired to the controller not the Xbox one which I think is worth mentioning. As are all the other headsets, there is no truly wireless (for the Xbox one) headset yet.

my XL1 had the red/white/yellow cable so i plugged them into TV,then the usb into 360 rest in to controller and away i go.so guessing this will be the same if i kept them.i just need the adapter.so this could be the cheaper option.
