Stuck on verify update on initial startup from soft reset

error. We have a support article that provides
solutions for system update issues. Have you completed either a full or soft factory reset. The full factory reset will erase everything while a soft factory reset keeps games and applications installed. Have you tried performing an offline system update?

Same issue here. No games will play at all... disc games, downloaded games, x360 games... all get stuck on a black screen after initial startup screen. I uninstalled the latest game update (minecraft) and still having issues. MS support please help

Xbox one froze on startup. I’ve reset and power cycled it. I’ve downloaded the offline update and gone through that process. It keeps getting stuck 66% of step 3 or 88% of entire update. What else can be done???

And for those who are doing a first time setup of the Xbox One, who cannot do the soft reset because are stuck on the update not downloading to finish the setup.... And no, error 0x8B10000B is not found in the TS guides.
