    Stuck on Set your Experience Page in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020


    i downloaded the game two days ago, and after a lot of trouble, and increasing my paging size, i was able to succeed in performing a couple flights. when i came back the next morning, it wouldnt load without crashing. so i verified the integrity of the game
    files. it came up with an error, but not anymore. if i try to start it from the desktop it says missing executables. now i get stuck at a blank screen with a plane on it that says “set your experience”. can anyone please help me??? i spent $119.00 and ive
    played too much to get a refund.

    what ive tried:

    -increasing paging size

    -verifying integrity of game files

    -cleared download cache

    -updated graphics drivers

    -updated windows

    -reset & turned off the PC

    -deleting the game

    -run as administrator

    -ran steam in compatability mode

    This is so poor for such and expensive game. And for that price there should be way of directly getting support rather than being forced to trawl the internet looking for answers. Why is no one from Microsoft responding here at least?.

    I'm very disappointed , I also have the same problem and none of the proposed resolutions work . I bought the physical premium deluxe version and after installing 10 dvds, another 19 gigabytes of data were downloaded online with errors and continuous blocks
    during the update phase. almost 10 hours of installation . to result stuck on "set your experience". Well my "experience" configured is a complete frustation and loss of money. Of course we will now wait for the patch hoping it will resolve ...maybe 70 80
    giga of patches . Thanks Microsoft
