Stuck on My Games and Apps screen and can't go to the home screen

My dad's Xbox One has been working just fine for the past month that he's had it. But here recently, he went to the My Games and Apps screen to play his game, but now it's permanently stuck on the screen. I try pressing the home button, and even double
tapping it to snap the side menu, but it never shows either one. It just loads back up the My Games and Apps screen again and again. I've tried soft and hard restarting the Xbox, but it loads into that screen every time. Even without Internet it still does
this. His console is in the new preview program, so I'm not sure if it's just a bug or the console itself messing up. I've looked but I haven't found anything about this issue on Google. Also, I can in fact use Cortana to go to apps and games and to sign in
profiles, but I still can't go to the home menu. Any help would be greatlyappreciated!!!

Ps. I'm not able to load up the settings menu either.

New Xbox One console came with 3 downloadable games. Kids opened box, lost paperwork.

go to my games and apps on the home screen and scroll down to ready to install on the left side of the screen. Your games should be in there.

Xbox Dashboard Issues - Home Screen, Can't Get Into Settings

My Xbox is stuck on the Home screen on the Dashboard, I can open games that I have installed on the console but not apps like Netflix, or Settings, also I cannot go into My Games & Apps or click the button on the right side of the screen that says "Connect
to Xbox Live" I have already hard reset the console multiple times and still cannot do anything.

I not even sure that it's the preview program at all. My screen now loads up to a blank black screen after the my games and apps logo repeatedly pops up and disappears till it finally disappears completely to a blank black screen. It only shows the logo
and none of my games and it also showed me sign in.

Sorry to hear about the issues. On your Xbox One console, are you able to use Cortana as well? Or do you know if your Xbox One is also in the Preview Program? I ask because it sounds like both Xbox One consoles are being affected similarly and if they are
both in the Preview Program, the link provided above is your best course of action.

Please let us know if your console is NOT part of the Preview Program so we can try alternate solutions.

The past two days I've been stuck at the title screen. Even when the game kicks into demo mode I can't get out of it. All I can do is screenshot and go to the Xbox home screen.

Its impossible for me to go reset and keep games and apps because I am stuck on the troubleshoot screen. in which it doesn't allow me to do that for whatever reason. I also cant go back to the normal home screen and reset there because I am literally stuck on the troubleshoot screen. I cant just reset my Xbox and go back because it automatically puts me into the troubleshoot screen.

I did try solution 1 but it put me back onto the troubleshoot screen.

Any Ideas so I don't have to remove everything?

Hi gds, thanks for the idea, sadly i can't access the home screen, i'm stuck in the set up process and can't see how to get to the home screen from there. i have tried going to my microsoft account using another computer and changing my password as suggested
in the link you provided but when i go back to my xbox and start it up i get the same issue and error message. Any other ideas? Is there a way to get to the home screen without completing the set up again.

I have the same problem:

DR3 - either crashes to home screen, or gets stuck at "Loading"

AC4 - either crashes to home screen, or gets stuck loading the save game

KI- crashes to home

COD- Goes into a loop going back to the splash screen after showing the menu for a second or two

These are all digital download games. I'm on my 2nd replacement xbox and support hasn't been able to help me at all.
