Stuck on green opening screen

    can anyone help. My Xbox is stuck on the green op Ning screen and won't progress beyond that point.

    is there a way to fix it?

    Hi there!

    Sorry to hear that you have this problem.

    First try to hard reset your console (only do this if you've been stuck for more than 20 minutes) normally this would result in a green screen loop it self but since you already have it, it might fix it (did it for me).

    You can do a hard reset by holding the power button on your console for 10 secconds and turning it back on.

    If that doesn't help follow the step by step troubleshooting guide provided here.

    The above solution will definitely help fix it. if not you might need to send your console for repair.

    What do you mean it opens at your home screen and then nothing? Are you stuck on the dashboard or is it a black or green screen?
