Stuck on Green Loading. Now offline system update failed.

Hi,

This morning I was stuck on the green loading screen for 30 mins or more.

So I started a support chat & they got me to do an offline system update via usb, this got stuck at installation at 66%.

After 7 hours of messing around it looks like I need an exchange on my console (1TB COD AW edition).

Even though my console is less than 18 months old I am expected to pay over £100 to do this. So after spending a small fortune on a console & various peripherals not to mention Live Gold, EA Access & way too many downloadable games I'm in no position to expect
a reduction in this fee. I really thought Microsoft was better than this in customer loyalty.

Is this really the end of my console after 17 months?

Can anybody help in reducing the cost or have any other ways to help.

Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool NOT WORKING

i used the Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool and i was successful but now its stuck on the black screen with the green loading bar

 

E202 Stuck on green screen

Stuck on green loading screen. E202 7008000 error code. Tried offline update but keeps getting stuck at 66%.

Has anyone else run into this or know a fix?

Sorry you're having issues with your Xbox update. I would suggest trying the
offline system update tool again. Sometimes it works after trying it a second or third time. If you continue to have more issues updating, and your console not starting, then as you mentioned, unfortunately the only possible solution is to send it in. Please
see this link to start the repair process on your console.

 

After 3 failed attempts at an offline system update the console has gone off for an exchange/repair. There will now be a minutes silence.
