I've had my xbox since around Christmas time and I've never had this problem. For the past few days, with any game I go to play, I can get to the main screen of the game but it stays stuck on the detecting storage screen until I turn the system off. It's
stayed there for 10 minutes at one point.

i just don't know what to do, google searches have turned up nothing. I've tried unplugging it and plugging it back in but that doesn't fix the problem. My game save data (under manage game) doesnt want to load up either. Anyone know what I can do? I'd hate
to have to send it for repair or something. Also sorry if this isn't the right thread I've never posted here before.

    :)

    "No storages devices found"

Thanks, but I've tried these codes last night to no avail.

Support insists on repairs. Recovering the 4gb memory would cost the same as a 250gb-320gb hard drive though, and apart from that problem the xbox works fine. In which case the I'll hope it only stays a software problem.

Hopefully this simplifies a bit without derailing from the problem: Update made 4gb internal memory disappear as storage device.
