Have you tried to perform a complete Soft Factory Reset (DO NOT KEEP MY GAMES AND APPS)
of your console?

How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One

That would totally wipe clean your Xbox console back to it's original form.

Afterwards, you again would need to reconnect to your network - get the latest console update - redownload your profile

back onto the Xbox console. Also, reinstall / redownload all your games and apps.

Hello, If you have a second XBox you can download the insider app then unenroll the one with the issue from the program then it will force it to update when you switch back on

Hey there Rik thanks for taking the time to bring this issue to us.

We suggest checking out our
Get the Xbox Insider Hub app page to download the Hub from a pc or mobile device to un-enroll from the insider program. Once that is done and the dashboard cannot be accessed

try a reset of the console through the troubleshooting page>

1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.
   
2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
3. Wait 30 seconds.
   
4. Plug the power cord back in.
   
5. Continue holding the
   BINDand
   EJECTbuttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart.
   

NoteIf you
don't hear two power-up tones after 15 seconds, it means this failed. Likewise, if you hear any “power-down” chirps, that also means this failed.
