Stuck in Game for 22 hours

Yesterday I decided to play against some people in Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes in my off time. The game is a turn based game and you can't view the set up of a game before joining it. Due to this, people sometimes create games without timers. In
a turn based game if there is no timer, people can wait endlessly until you quit out and get penalized for quitting on someone.

I played someone (Not posting gamertag) and beat them once. At the start of the second game it became apparent I would win again. Rather than continuing the game to the end, they stopped playing. As stated before, it is their turn endlessly now and my
only option is to quit. As sad as it sounds, I've played 1,500+ games with zero quits and have no intention of having a quit on my record.

The answer is most likely "Just quit out and play other people/games" but that would suck. I've reported them multiple times for Tampering->Cheating (Best description I could find). I've called Xbox support twice and they told me these things can take
time. I'm hoping posting here will have someone examine the situation.

How long did it take you to DL MCC?

For those who are worried about their installing stopping, give it time. I would be stuck at 2% for 30min, than easily get up to 22%, than be stuck for 30 min ...


It's gonna take you a while. Id put mine the in the ballpark of 6 hours.

Skulltaker Halo 2: Blind (December 22, 2014 around 9pm ET)

Warden (December 27, 2014 around 1 pm)

 

You've done the right thing in reporting them through the console. That is the only way to report someone.

The Enforcement Team will review the report and if they agree would take action.

 

It just stinks staying in the game for nearly a day now. I figure I'll keep reporting every once in awhile till something happens. I love game Ubisoft made but allowing the game not to have a timer was a serious mistake. This is actually the third time
this has happened to me (In 1,500+ games).

 

That seems like quite the oversight. I'm also surprised that as they can play asynchronously (by virtue of not having a timer) that you're not able to close the game and return every now and again to play your turn.

 

Stuck in a game for almost FIVE DAYS now against someone who is breaking the CoC.

- Exploiting game vulnerabilities or glitches

I'd say walking away from a game for FIVE DAYS is disrupting the competitive advantage. I'd say the game not having a timer and exploiting that is taking advantage of a vulnerability. The developer even noted that they thought this was a major problem
and have heard complaints regarding it. It was the cost of patching that caused them not to patch.

So what to do?

Apparently the enforcement team might get to this by the end of the week or maybe next week. I'll also never know if they have looked in to this. Also, I won't be able to tell them what is going on except "Cheating->Tampering" which isn't exactly what
is happening.

So maybe they'll just ignore the complaint and I'll get in trouble for filing complaints. Awesome! So there is nothing that can be done to fix someone cheating in a game who has kept me locked from my Xbox for five days.

Argh...

 

I'm seriously considering going out tomorrow and buying a PS4 and putting my story on YouTube. I figure a video showing how I got stuck in a game for a week (On Thursday) and Xbox couldn't do anything for me. I went through endless phone calls and people
often told me the wrong thing to do (Post in the banning forum, keep filing complaints).

The video won't go viral but I've got decent editing skills so there is a chance. Customer service for live is horrible. Everyone I speak to says this is absurd and they wish they could do something. A few people have urged me to call back (Which hasn't
helped out at all).

So let's see what happens. This guy can keep me locked in a game for FIVE DAYS and there nothing that can be done? Really? No one to contact? I've just got to wait the two weeks for the enforcement team to maybe do something and I'll never know if they
do or do not look at this.

Surely the enforcement team has a moment to see that I've been stuck in a game for FIVE DAYS. The situation can be fixed in a matter of moments when they verify this.

Surely the enforcement team can take 5 minutes to look at this considering I've been stuck in a game for five days.

I guess it is time to call XBL again.... 12th phone call?

 

The enforcement team are not going to drop everything they are doing just because you want them to.

There are proper channels to go through & you have to report this person via your console & the enforcement team will investigate it when your complaint gets to the top of the pile of complaints.

Phoning support will achieve nothing as they have nothing to do with xbox live enforcement whatsoever.

You can either wait this out,which could take months or just quit yourself

I know I'm blowing up this forum and endlessly bumping my post but I have a hard time believing one person on the enforcement team hasn't heard about this yet. I've posted to the banning forum so they've seen those posts and not posted them (PMs sent to
me).

This can be fixed within moments by the right person.

 

We have tried to help you and tell you that the Enforcement Team does not look in the forums. All you are doing is spamming the forums and really not accomplishing anything. You say that its unfair and it is that they are cheating. Can any of us do anything
about it.....nope. The Enforcement Team get thousands of report to look at, so they will get to yours when it gets to them. If you want to play as much as you say I would quit, because from what I gather you are going to lose the game either way.

The reason they quit is because I was wrecking them in the game and they seem to be pretty *** about this. It isn't losing the game it is getting ONE disconnect on my gaming record. I have zero and am rather proud of that.

As the above poster wrote I'm going to have to wait two weeks, two months.... maybe more. There is no telling when or if they'll ever look at this. There is no way to file a report regarding what has happened other than "Cheating->Tampering". I can't
explain the situation to anyone looking at it.

So the system is completely broken. The person can cheat and destroy my record without consequence. So why game on 360? PS4 is my next gen system of choice.
