stuck in a sign-in loop for Totally Accurate Battle Simulator on Windows 10 PC

I purchased TABS for my son awhile back, and then uninstalled it after my Windows 10 desktop started behaving poorly. The problems went away after the uninstall.

I've reinstalled it now on the same machine but under a different account so that it is isolated from my primary account. It has downloaded just fine, but when trying to log in to the game, the system will think for a moment, then show the sign-in "Let's Go" screen again. No matter how many times I click "Let's Go" or switch to a different account, it's the same thing -- stuck in this endless loop of sign in.

If I close the sign in window, my son can play TABS but he can't save any progress because he's not signed in.

The one time this problem did not occur was after I shut everything down and restarted the desktop. I really don't want to have to do that each time he wants to play.

This game has been a major hassle. Any suggestions? Thank you.

It did not. Every time I've tried to install this it's almost broken my entire computer.

Check for updates on Windows Update, update everything including optional/additional updates, and also follow the steps below.

1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app

2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app in the Windows menu, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset. Do this for the game too.

3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.

4. Open the Microsoft Store, click on ''library'' in the lower-left corner then ''get updates'' and update everything.

5. Restart your PC, log into the apps again and try again.

Human Fall Flat. The game is hilarious. Same with Totally Accurate Battle Simulator.
