stuck download on xbox one

Do I actually have to unplug my router too? I have a ton of family using it right now so i really cant.

This is a disc game, right? Please follow the steps below:

First, please clear your console persistent storage and queue:

- Xbox button > My games and apps > See all > Manage queue > Queue > Cancel all > Clear the queue.

- Xbox button > System > Settings > Devices and connections > Blue-ray > Persistent storage > Clear persistent storage (press three times).

Then, please enable remote features:

- Eject your game disc.

- Go to Settings > Devices & connections > Remote feature > Enable remote features.

Perform a power reset on the console:

- Turn off your console and your router/modem.

- Unplug all the cables from both devices (power, HDMI, etc..) and wait 2 minutes.

- After 2 minutes, plug all the cables in again on your router/modem and wait for all the lights to show up.

​​​- Plug all the cables on your console and turn it on.

Finally, download the game remotely:

​​- Download the Xbox mobile app and connect it to your console.

- Search your game on it and select download to console.

- After the download and installation is done, insert your game disc to the console and see if you can play the game.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble downloading your game. Kindly follow the steps below and see if it helps.

1. Power cycle both console and router

- To disconnect and reconnect your console: Press and hold the Xbox button on your controller for 10 seconds, and then unplug the console's power cable and wait 10 seconds. Plug the power cable back in, and then press the Xbox button on the front of your console to turn it back on.

2. Try using both wireless and wired connections (if possible try using a mobile hotspot as well).

3. Try to refresh your operating system and delete all potentially corrupted data that restricts you from using your console normally without deleting your games or apps.​​​​​​​

Note: Make sure that you know your account logins before doing this step. Also, this will remove all your Home Xbox associations.

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info > Reset console.

- On the Reset your console? screen, you'll select Reset and keep my games & apps.
