Stuck button command

My Xbox thinks I am pressing the left button on my controller when I am not. I thought it was a controller issue so I bought a new controller. It is still doing it. On my home screen it scrolls up. Switching controllers will stop this and I can get In a game or app but in Fortnite the aim is always pressed. It doesn't seem to have any problems in Minecraft though. I've tried restarting my Xbox itself. it didn't help. Sometimes I can switch controllers and I can start a game. How do I fix this?

Hi SallyCK, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

If you are not able to find some way of moving the button yourself to release it then the official way to resolve this would be to send the controller for repair using
this link.

Exact same problem, that command made it so I could install, but Campaign stuck at 0%
