Stuck behind Moderate NAT and I dont know what else to do

    Stuck behind Moderate NAT and I dont know what else to do


    We recently got a faster internet router that enables up to almost 75 MB per second download. But the thing is, since we got it, I have been stuck behind a moderate UPnP port restricted NAT. I port forwarded the xbox one on the router, didn't change, I
    rebooted the Modem, the Router and the Xbox One, didn't change, nothing I have been doing has had any effect and I am stuck behind this Moderate NAT and I am at my wits end on what to do.

    The sad thing is, on our previous Wi-fi which was only about 20 to 25 MB per second download, I always had a open NAT. Now that we have this bigger download speed ext, i've been stuck behind this moderate NAT and I dont know how to fix it.

    nat issues

    so i had a moderate nat before and i fixed this by configuring my router (enabled upnp, opened needed ports etc.) and it fixed my nat type. i had open for a few days then one day, i decide to play gears of war 3 and it tells me my nat type is moderate so
    i go to test my xbox live connection because that usually fixes the problem and this time, it tells me that my nat type has gone back to moderate and i checked my router settings and nothing was changed. i dont know what to do, ive power cycled my router,
    my modem, and my xbox but still i get a moderate nat. all the settings are still the same and i even changed the xbox's ip address to see if that would fix anything and it dosent. can anyone help me because i dont know what to do, i just want an open nat so
    i dont have a limited experience and its really fustrating me. thanks.

    Just to be clear, because it seems everyone is telling me how to get an open NAT. I want to get a moderate NAT. I know it seems weird, but this game has been playing great for me on a moderate NAT. This morning it was open and I'm about 1 second behind.
    Moderate makes it even for me. I know its weird but it seems to be working better on moderate.

    Can not connect/join friends game. Session is no longer available . What to do ?

    Make sure everyone's NAT is open. And if you are playing 2 consoles on one network one of you probably have a moderate NAT. There are special instructions for doing that, and I dont know what they are.

    said its an xbox issue with the firewall.detailed nat information is saying your network is stuck behind a firewall or not connected tho im connected to the internet.really stuck here don't know what to do

    I dont think its all that weird. I think its possible that moderate nat is just matching you up with a different group of people than when open, and by odd chance it just happens to be a group of people with a better connection to you.



    Thats why it normally appears to give you a better game with an open nat. Not because the nat makes a difference on your connection, but it gives more availabilty of mathces to join, thus usually meaning a better connection. But I dont see any reason
    it couldnt work the opposite.



    One other option I dont think was meantioned it to try different search settings. Try playing for a while on each, best, normal and any.

    STILL CAN'T PLAY and HAVE BAD NAT

    I did port forwarding and it didnt help, it is still the same "moderate nat" My firewall on my modem setting also says "Firewall: Nat only" if that helps also, i dont know what it would do if i tuned the nat firewall off but i hope you guys can help me
