    Stuck at "When's your birthday?" during Xbox One setup


    So, I have gotten through the initial hardware setup, downloaded and installed updates, signed in, But currently stuck at the aforementioned menu and unable to progress to selecting the day. The cursor is stuck on the month, and any button i push on the
    controller will not tab to the "day" section of this screen.

    Spins forever during Xbox On Setup

    Yep, full power down. I was finally able to get TV to come up by skipping all of the configuration, but going back and trying to configure any of it causes it to hang again. After this last full shut down after it froze, I'm now stuck at a black screen
    with the xbox logo.

    Thanks for your answer, I'll try again tomorrow. If it still doesn't work I'll bump this thread for more help.

    To add to what the others have said the one thing that you will not be able to do until your DOB when the account was originally setup reaches its 18th birthday is set a custom profile picture.
