  1. stuck at “Press enable on your console to get connected” when trying the new app streaming

I have enabled remote features, it has tested remote play and says your good to go, but on the xbox one app i can’t progress past that “press enable” screen to connect to my console. Not sure what to do here. Maybe it’s not totally working yet because i’m on IOS but please let me know if anyone has a solution. I already restarted my phone and console to try again, but it didn’t fix it.

Im trying to cast my xbox one to my lenovo laptop using hdmi but i cant find it where do i see my connections

Hello Assassin the hdmi on your laptop is an output therefore you can't connect connect using hdmi. However you can connect wirelessly and stream your xbox one to your Lenovo laptop to do that follow these steps:

How to start game streaming from your Xbox One to your Windows 10 PC

Enable settings on your Xbox One

To use Xbox game streaming, you must first enable game streaming from your Xbox One. To do this, press the Xbox button to open the guide, select System > Settings > Preferences > Xbox app connectivity. Do these two things:

Under This Xbox, select Allow game streaming to other devices.

Under Other devices, select Allow connections from any device or Only from profiles signed in on this Xbox.

Connect your Windows 10 PC to your Xbox One

After ensuring that your console settings are correct, you need to establish a connection from your Windows 10 PC to your Xbox One console from within the Xbox Console Companion app on your PC:

On your PC, launch the Xbox Console Companion app.

Select Connection from the panel on the left side.

The Xbox Console Companion app will scan your home network for available Xbox One consoles. Select the name of the console you want to connect to.

The ‘Connect to Your Xbox One’ window is shown with the name of the console that’s connected.

Note All Xbox One consoles are pre-named "MyXboxOne." If you have multiple consoles, you should rename each one so that you can correctly identify the console you're trying to connect to. You can rename your console by pressing the Xbox button to open the
guide, selecting System > Console info > Console info, and then selecting the name of your console in the Name box.

Once you have connected, you'll see the icons change to indicate you are connected, and you'll see new options for streaming, power, and media remotes. You'll also now have control of the console remotely.

The ‘Connect to Your Xbox One’ window is shown with the console’s current screen displayed.

How to launch game streaming from the Connection panel

To begin streaming, click Stream once the console is connected.

Hope it helps let us know

    Xbox app

Xbox One and above generations should have this option.

    Try this:

press the Connection icon in the left-hand menu of the Xbox app on your PC.

In the Connect to your Xbox One window, click the Add a device icon in the top-right.

Windows will search for your Xbox One console automatically. If it detects it, press the Connect button. If you need to do this manually, type the IP address for your Xbox in the box provided, then press Connect to connect to it.

If you can’t connect, you may need to allow streaming connections in your Xbox settings. To do this, open your Xbox settings and go to Devices & Streaming > Device connections. Make sure that the Allow Play To streaming, Allow game streaming to other devices and Only from profiles signed in on this Xbox settings are selected or enabled.

Once the Xbox is added, you should see it listed in your Connections tab.

    Remote play

Hi SimonBaylik! My name is Ricardo an independent advisor ready to help you with this situation!

If you see the following errors when you try to connect to your console, try the troubleshooting steps that follow:

"Stream Connection Lost: Something went wrong, please try again later."

"Try again in a while: We can't stream from your console right now."

    "Can't connect to console."

Make sure you’ve completed all the steps in the setup guide:

    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/...

If you’re still having trouble, try these solutions:

Check the Xbox status, which can be done in the Xbox app. On mobile, go to the

Profile tab and select the Settings icon, then select Support & feedback > Xbox status. Or, on a browser, go to:

    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

Close the Xbox app on your device and then reopen it.

Check that you’re signed in to the Xbox app with the same account that you used to enable remote play from your console.

If your Xbox console requires an update when you try to play remotely, you may see an error. Turn on the Xbox console you're trying to connect to and check for available updates, then try again.

Make sure you’ve enabled remote play on your console. Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide, then go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features. Make sure you’ve selected the Enable remote features checkbox.

Restart your console by holding down the Xbox button  on your controller and selecting Restart console > Restart.

Restart the device you're using for remote play.

    Cannot connect

Hello, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.

My name is welcome to the community.

Hello Bink, when it says it can't connect your Xbox to App, would it be to stream from console to your PC?

Which App is trying to connect, through the Xbox App or app companion, to Streaming the ideal is to do by the Xbox Companion App.

I'll be waiting for your reply.
