Stuck as trial mode, no purchase option.

I can't remember if this account ever owned Minecraft: Xbox One Edition. But for whatever reason i can only download the trial version of the game through the marketplace.

In game, selecting "unlock full game" results in nothing, no pop up to redirect to the store page.

Tried deleting the game from the system, still only says "free trial" on the store page.

Appreciate any help, this is getting annoying.

Can you try purchasing it on xbox.com?

 

The Xbox One version doesn't seem to be available through Xbox.com. I don't get a result for it searching either "Minecraft" or "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition". I only get results for the new poorly ported Minecraft.

Are they trying to replace the Xbox One version? This is ridiculous.

 

U should check if u own Minecraft Xbox one edition check if it has a popup that says

u have been playing Minecraft Xbox one edition for Certain days u can get this new Minecraft for free

And once u tap to get Minecraft u will be redirected to the Xbox store Minecraft will be free

That's how I got Minecraft free

 

I don't get anything, I know I've had hundreds of hours in Minecraft xbox one edition. It might have been through another profile owning it on the same console in the past. Regardless it should either say "owned" or "purchase price". But it all it says is
"get trial".

I don't want a trial.. or this new free Minecraft.

Why is this so difficult.. I just want the original xbox one edition minecraft where I can continue my saves and achievement progress.

 

Unfortunately the Xbox One edition was removed with the Better Together Update.

I don't like how that locks you out of whatever achievement progress you had going. Minecraft will just sit there forever now with its current gamerscore.
