Struggling to Stay Connected and Other Core Issues

Hiya. I recently bought an Xbox One and I've been getting so frustrated with it. For the last few days, including right now as I type this, I've been randomly getting booted off of Live. It starts off with my party not being able to hear me, though they
can hear each other and I can hear them. I almost thought it was a headset issue (it's not). Then I get kicked off, or if I restart my Xbox, it won't let me sign back in. This is happening several times a day, since I bought it a few days ago. Some of my other
friends are experiencing this as well. When I check my connection is says I'm good to go and connected, but I'm not... I can't see pins or friends, etc. It says there might be a problem on Microsoft's end. But when I check the Status page, no errors or issue
with the Core services, so what is going on? I'm trying to be calm about this - I know with Christmas, there's been server attacks and probably a dramatic increase in Xbox One users and the servers might not be able to handle it, who knows. But I've worked
my butt off to be able to afford this, and I feel like I've thrown £500+ down the drain. Will this stop happening soon?

Hard core mode minimap?

I would like to get some votes on whether the mini map in hard core should stay or go. I think that it should be gone in hard core mode but for soft core it should stay. So i vote no mini map in hard core.

according to the haters... it is because MS is struggling and taking final swings to stay above water... economics = none

 

Don't worry it's just the timing. I've had my Xbox one since launch day. I've been in the preview program and have had glitches every now and then but the last two days have been something completely different. I've been having tons of issues but after seeing
others problems I'm thinking what you stated above is probably correct. I'd just keep your cool and hope they fix it soon.

 

having same prob, xbox site said issues fixed, still loosing conection to xbox live. might have to go back to ps3 lol only just got xbox1

 

I'm having similar issues as well but also I am not able to see any of my friends online to start

 

best is their site doesnt even say anything about friend list problems...says everything is working fine

 

Thank you baddkar, that is really reassuring Yeah, I'm being really patient since I know Microsoft are doing everything they can to get it resolved. It's good to know that this isn't how the Xbox One is normally, so that gives me hope that in the New
Year I'll get to experience it properly. Thanks again!
