    Struggling to check if they received my controller package for servicing


    Hi,

    I sent my controller in for repair on 11/8/2022, which got delivered to the returns centre on 15th August. However, Microsoft did not or has yet to email me if they have recieved my device for repairs. I've called the customer services about three times to check the status of my order. Each one of them hung up before they would reply with an answer. I couldn't even get information for my order number online or even add my device's serial number, just to give me the latest information of my service order.

    I'm worried as my controller's warranty had expired yesterday, and I'm also starting to worry if Microsoft did not notice my package, even if UPS stated that it got delivered there.

    Can you help me with this?

    I have waited for two weeks and still no response from Microsoft about my order.

    I have sent my order in almost a month ago and the expiry for this is at 10th of this month.

    I hope they are still processing it, but I will contact them again to chase for an update.

    It's good to know on when I receive their next email, so I can put my mind to rest for a longer while.

    I'll wait for another two weeks, then I'll have to chase up if they have not dealt with my controller by then.

    Hope you're doing great today despite this Propernekoz

    Don't worry, as you sent the controller before the warranty expired (and you opened the repair ticket before this too) if the damage is covered by the warranty you're good to go.

    Usually the repair center sends you an email after they inspect and decide if your controller can be replaced / repaired.

    Not something like an email saying only "we received your controller"

    Let's try waiting for now, repair request takes usually between 15 and 30 days

    I have tried contacting them again through the virtual agent. It asks few questions but is unable to answer and when it comes to contact real person - it says no chat is available for this issue.

    According UPS they have delivered to package to the Service Center, so there is no reason to contact UPS in this matter.

    I understand it may be slow but you'd think they update package as received in Service Order as soon they signed UPS package received. Just waiting few weeks means the Service Order will close and not only is my controller broken, I sent it to seemingly

    what gets me in the how to get a warranty service it states in section D) REASONABLE COSTS WITH TRANSPORT (INCLUDING PACKAGING ) FOR WARRANTY SERVICE WILL BE BORNE BY MICROSOFT IF THE XBOX ONE OR ACCESSORY IS COVERED BY THE EXPRESS WARRANTY OR ANY STATUTORY
    WARRANTY >>>>>> WELL ACCORDING TO THE SERVICE CENTRE ONLINE MY REPLACEMENT CONTROLLER IS THROUGH THE EXPRESS SERVICE SO WHEN WILL I BE PAID BACK FOR THE COST OF PACKAGING AND POSTAGE TO GET MY CONTROLLER TO SYDNEY OR IS THIS ANOTHER BIG FAT LIE MICROSOFT
