    Struggle traying to make a USB headset works on the XsX


    I intended to use on my xbox a headset that I already own and use on my computer, the Corsair Void Elite USB which besides being of great quality I am already used to using it, and considering tha last year in April Phil Spencer said that they were working to ensure that our current accessories would work in the new generation. So I made the connection of the USB port and although the headset turns on it does not work, since it seems that the console itself does not recognize it, could someone help me with this issue? Could you please clarify if there is really no support for integrating these gadgets? What if there is any forecast that there will be such support in the future? And I'm sorry for a possible repetition of the subject, I confess that I felt quite frustrated and upset with what happened. Thank you in advance

    Controller Stuck ON, Controller Does Not Respond to Button Presses, XBOX One Not Playing Game

    There is an issue with having your Xbox One in the "Instant On" feature. The symptoms of that is loading the game and then it forcing you to home screen. To fix this go to Settings --> Power & Start up --> Click on power mode and have it be Power-Saving
    mode. The controller not working is probably due to not updating the controller. To update your controller you will need a USB to Micro-USB cable, like the ones that you plug into your smartphone into a USB wall charger. Insert the Micro-USB end into the front
    of the controller and the USB end into the left side of the Xbox, near the disc tray but on the left face. Then go to Settings --> System --> Update controller. Make sure you have an active internet connection and plug your headset into the controller, (the
    default Xbox One Headset) as it will update the headset too.

    My son had this problem. His wireless headset did not connect directly to the Xbox, he needed to plug in a littl USB dongle that came with the headset into the xbox for it to work. Make sure you don't need one of these USB dongles for it to work and if
    it does, maybe try a different USB port on the xbox.

    You can use the Steelseries Arctis 7x for XSX, PS5 and PC.

    I've got the Arctis 7P, which is only compatible with PS5 and PC, so be careful when buying.

    The only issue is, you have to use a USB-C Dongle to use it on the consoles, not like the Xbox Wireless Headset, which directly connects to the Xbox.

    I recently purchased the Hyper X Cloud 2 headset. This headset comes with an Audio control box that has a USB plug in. However when i plugged it into my Xbox it doesn’t work. I read a couple other questions regarding USB audio inputs and saw mixed

    Headsets with USBs don't work on xbox. If you have a jack with it you should use that instead. (plugs into controller)

    You cannot use corded USB headsets on Xbox. You need a headset with a 3.5mm connector on it.

    When purchasing a headset check to make sure it has an Xbox logo on the box to be assured that it works on Xbox One.
