    Struck in the initial setup screen for a long time


    I have bought a new XBOX today . I removed the package and setup the console. I switched on my TV and the XBOX and for the last one hour it is stuck in the inital green screen displaying the XBOX one log. Can someone help me to start with XBOX one setup
    here.

    No Xbox intial setup disc... Tried an initial setup and now can't get passed the screen

    Bought a used Xbox 360 slim 250 gb... Tried an initial setup and it asked for a disc. I don't have that disc. Now when I shut it off and turn it back on it still goes to the initial setup screen... HELP!

    Hi, my xbox often keeps running the first time set up, sometimes 2 or 3 times a week.

    can anyone give me some pointers as to why?

    Are you keeping all 3 buttons on the console pressed, it can take a fair few seconds (10-20) for second power up chime.

    Thank you, I've tried that a few but it doesn't make the second power up chime.

    When it powers up it goes to the green screen for about 10 seconds, then goes blank and I can't do anything on it. When i press and hold the power button on the remote it flashes up with the power off options but then goes straight off and I'm unable to

    It sounds like the update didn't take, try these steps.

    1. whilst console is on, press and hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds till fully shut down.
    2. Press and hold both the bind and eject buttons
    3. Press power button and wait for second power up chime.
    4. Select reset console from troubleshoot menu

    This should hopefully reset the console to factory settings and pull the latest update through.
