Strike Suit Zero - Good Ending

So, on True Achievements there is one guide on how to get this that comes with 63 responses. I don't know if anyone knows (for sure) on how to unlock it. If I add up all of my points/score, I'm around 1.55 million. I've heard the magic number was 1.8
million, but someone said they unlocked it with 1.5 mil. Someone then said it was based off the number of Platinum/Gold medals you unlock in the levels... well, I'm up to 6 Plats, 3 Gold, 2 Silver & 1 Bronze and it hasn't unlocked for me. Ugh.

Anyone else want to chime in on how they unlocked it, if they have.

There is no magic number, I had about 5 gold and 6 platinum's adding up to total score of around well below 1.8, more like 1.5 million.

There was also 2 stages I didn't even have a medal for, so it looks like a combo of score and medals, I'd say get up to at min 5 gold and 5 plats.

Also make sure you complete the optional objectives on the last mission, destroying the 3 rod things or whatever.

My pleasure, to solidify this a bit more, I have not improved any score since getting the achievement:

I hope that calculation is right or I might look like a bit of an idiot, but even under 1.5 so get a few more gold/plat and you should be good. I also used the raptor because it's speed to power ratio can make all the difference imo.

 

Thanks Digital. My scores are very comparable to yours and even better at some points. Last thing I did last night was beat the final mission in under 7 minutes, so I didn't bother with the 3 rod things on the final mission. Maybe I'll try that when I
get home tonight and see if that does the trick.

Hmmm... looking at those medals and scores it should have popped though I'm sure doing the final objective has something to do with it because when I finished the final level the first time around I did the optional objectives and I didn't get the save earth
achievement, even though it gave me the bad ending.

Replayed and didn't do the objectives and it unlocked, so it makes me think that they trigger the endings somehow. See how you go finishing with the objectives completed.

 

P.S. I bumped level 10 up to a Gold medal, retried it, and it unlocked. Finally!

Everything on easy, difficulty effects nothing.
