Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut coming March to PS4 and Xbox One

Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in March.

The game includes a restructured campaign, new ship models, enhanced textures and lighting, and two new Strike Suits: the Marauder and the Raptor.
In addition, the Director's Cut will also include the Heroes of the Fleet campaign.

You'll be able to pick the game up for £14.99 on both PSN and Xbox LIVE. Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut is also coming to PC at a later date.

I love a good space blaster and this looks like it could be good. Out in March and only £14.99 it could be worth a punt.

I actually have to agree with Randver on this - with the exception of a select few, the games on the Xbox 360 Indy channel weren't true Indy titles. Most of them were complete garbage, likely made by someone testing the waters, doing it for a school project,
or hoping to make a quick buck off of cloning an actual good Indy game (like Minecraft, Angry Birds, Flappy Bird, etc.). Most of them have terrible gameplay, shoddy artwork, bad spelling - I could go on... Sure, they may actually be Indy games in the truest
sense of the word, but they were more garbage than games. If you want to make it on the Indy scene (or any scene really), you have to have a standard of quality - those didn't have it.

 

If the games on steam going for 20 bucks are the modified games that steam are well known for then yes i do agree, as for the 20$ pricetag i still disagree.

@N7 dont give me this is not the 360 indie is it speech as the games are still made with the same programs and tools as before. The games are now more refined and the developers simply more experienced. If that makes their game worth 20$ too you thats awesome.

Imo if an independent game is only 10-15 less than a game from a world renowned publisher and developer then their is an issue.

Oh and there were more than just minecraft wanna be's on 360 independent section. Some of which i spent 100+ hours on.

Have you looked at any of these indie games that are currently available? Your comment about "world renowned publisher" got a laugh but I'm assuming your serious. These are the publishers giving us broken, recycled garbage.

Do me a favor and Google, Bing or look on Steam for Day Z , Rust, Insurgency or Space Engineers and then come back and tell us how these aren't worth 20 bucks ( I'd pay 60 for all the above ). I'm in "early access" for all of them and when these games are
done they will be head and shoulders better than 90 percent of the releases from the big publishers and developers in recent years.

 

Day Z is a Mod off of Arma Series 1,2,3. Because steam is an open source service. An independent Developer used the source code from Arma, Created their "Version" and released it. Should they make money?? Not according to the founding laws of Free Open source.

We should be able to play the games you are stating, at least Day Z for free at best if you want to argue about it.

Do i think the game could potentially be worth 20 Yes, and called an Indie game No.

Reasons. Anyone could buy the program on xbox 360 for a year sub at 99$ USD plug into their computer and start attempting to develop a game.

This is not the case anymore. You must apply and have background,Company names past present and future. Employee's<~~ What! i know right.

 

The first indie game on Xbox one is.....Ryse.Crytek is an indie dev.

You're not even making an attempt to look into the current indie games. The Day Z currently in development is not the Arma 2 mod made by Dean Hall.

Bohemia is making Day Z from the ground up and even at this stage is extremely polished. How is this not an indie game? Why should it be free?

You keep going on about the garbage on the 360 and have no knowledge of what's going on in the way of indie games being developed by very talented developers. Your telling us something isn't worth 20 bucks and you've never played it or even made an attempt
to learn something about it.

 

MIA no one makes u buy them if you cant afford or dont want to ay $20 for a indie then dont

Btw I Remember buying counter Strike but never once did i pay for DoD, Team Fortress, are the many other Mods of Counter Strike.

 

If a game is good, plays well, has a decent length to it, then whether it's a so called "AAA" title or an indie game, they can have my money

I have no idea how we have gone from indie games to mods, apples and oranges. If you think they are one in the same then you seriously need to do some research. Plenty of reviews for Day Z already on Steam, in fact plenty of reviews for all the games I mentioned
and these are from people that actually played them rather than someone making assumptions based on a label.

Apples to oranges you stated Day Z as an indie game although true its just a Mod. Thats how we came upon that.

They will have my money too just not at that price. The Game looks alike like Project Sylpheed. That game is not even worth 20$
