Sounds as though this game has got average - good reviews. I don't usually lean on reviews unless I want some input about what to expect rather than someones grade on the game itself, I rather like using you all as test hamsters and getting your thoughts
on games / content

 

I played the first mission and I'm actually really liking it.

Controls are a little fiddly at first but the game eases you in gently so it gives you time to get to grips with them.

Seems like there's a good variation in missions as you get further in, not just "blow everything up in sight" .. escort missions, deliver some cargo, search and rescue .. ( only know this by some reviewers comments )

First impressions are good, look forward to jumping back on it later.

 

No trial = no buy from me im afraid

 

I'm still really enjoying it, got to mission 3 now and reminds me of the days of X Wing, Colony Wars. If your a fan of the titles mentioned then I'd say for £15.99 it's definitely worth a go ( from what I've played so far ) ..

 

@haz2901 more and more games are going come without trials these days on all platforms because the developers dislike them. So better get used to the idea.

Best thing to do is watch other people play it on youtube or twitch to get a "feel" of if you'd like a game or not.

 

Not heard good things about the games length/replay value... £15.99 for a short-ish indie game with no trial that's cheaper on the rival consoles service... No Sale I'm afraid....

 

^^^ Add to that the fact Trials Fusion is out next week for the same price... makes it even more of a NO!

^ I'm not the best person for going back to games and replaying them, very few titles I've played again.

From reviews it seems the average time to complete the main campaign is around 6-7 hours. You get medals for each level so unless your worried about improving your performances then it's not the biggest title out there.

Mind you, looking at the achievements there's one for "Seeing a different outcome" .. I think to get this you have to play through the whole game again, not just replay the last level.

I've enjoyed it up to yet, of course that could all change lol

 

I keep thinking "nah..." but everytime I watch gameplay videos I want to play it.

I think I mentioned above that I'm a sucker for Space Games like this.

Might have to take the plunge, and if it showers me with achievements... so bit it!

 

Ok, not wishing to ruffle any feathers, but how is it Sony manage to put this game out at £12.31 (ps+) and the best MS can manage is £15.99?

.

MS need to pull their fingers out!

 

With the games that Sony currently has I'd say they have to push for every and any advantage they can get.

Microsoft have better exclusives and more next gen games right now.
