Strider is out now

And according to Major Nelson and his contacts at Konami, it's in 1080p Native and 60fps so that should make everyone constantly hating the resolution wars simmer down a little. Although it is only a side scroller so I'm sure they're still another dozen
threads to be had today on the subject. Either way, it's out now on the live marketplace for both Xbox One and Xbox 360. Enjoy!

Strider Hiryu game could be released on Wii U if demand is high enough.

Recently, Capcom announced that they are teaming up with developer Double Helix in order to release a new Strider Hiryu game sometime early next year. The problem with for Wii U owners is that the game was announced for every other console but that. Now it seems that not all hope is lost, as the head of Double Helix has now stated that if their is a demand for the game, than it is possible it could be released on the console.

 

I was pleasantly surprised to see this out for the XBox One and not just the 360. Although I will complain about the lack of a demo.

I had Strider for the Sega Genesis back in the 90s and thought was awesome. I hope this remake is as good as Bionic Commando Rearmed.

 

It can't be 1080p/60fps! According to all the tech experts on this forum, the xbox one can't do that!

As far as the whole resolution arguments go, Xbox One will eventually achieve native 1080p. Forza is 1080p... By the end of the year, don't be surprised if most if not all One games are native 1080p.

 

I would buy this in a heart beat if the 360 purchase carried over to X1. Will have to wait till next week.

 

I just checked out some gameplay clips. Looks pretty good if you're in to that kind of thing.
