There are so many threads on Xbox 360 & Xbox One with NAT problems or NAT errors. Some folks have two Xbox's hooked up to one gateway & that complicates things more. I won't post all the links but everyone can find portforward.com which can be helpful but
for me nothing worked.

I had an **** DG1670 Gateway, Brighthouse cable internet (same as Time Warner) and Strict NAT even on just one console.

I tried DMZ on or off, virtual servers, port forwarding, bridge mode (which will disable your wifi & require a reset to get back to defaults) and NOTHING worked. Yep, I tried the holding all 4 triggers down on the controller and after 6 times it would occasionally
say Cone Nat & still strict.

Anyway I did what so many threads said to do and I bought a Surfboard SB6141 and a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 (R7000). I called up Brighthouse and they provisioned the modem in about 5 minutes. I suggest calling during Mon-Fri before 5pm to get local people.
Here is the list of what I did to have box Xbox 360 & Xbox One gaming at the same time with OPEN NAT.

Step 1 - Plug in new modem

Step 2 - Plug in new Router - Don't change any settings (mine did offer a firmware update & that is all I did)

Step 3 - Turn on both consoles (mine are hardwired)

Step 4 - Enjoy OPEN NAT

That was it. All the hours I wasted on trying to make the other junk work. It is just not worth it. If you have hardware that you just plugged in and it worked like this without doing squat you should list your ISP, makes and models and how they connect i.e.
wifi or wired. Plenty of threads making you try stuff to make it work out there. To heck with it if something just works out of the box

It says "Your network is behind a port preserving port symmetric NAT". That's with the ports on AND off.

Also forgot to post that it is saying : Your network is behind a port preserving port symmetric NAT on the detailed NAT information on the Xbox.
