Things you have tried: In no particular order, making a static IP for my One, forwarding ports, disabling and re-enabling UPnP and powercycling, clearing MAC address, setting up a DMZ, disabling firewalls on routers, and praying for divine
intervention.

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown: Yes

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? Yes, Strict. Also, when checking multiplayer connection, it says that it can't find a Teredo IP, and under detailed says that my network is either behind a firewall or not connected.

Any Error Codes you encounter: 0x807d0106 whenever I'm in a party with someone else for a short time

Who is your ISP?(Internet Service Provider): Brighthouse

This all began during the Destiny beta, when I found out that the party app didn't particularly agree with the game. I turned off my Xbox to reset everything (and I mean unplugging it as well) and when I turned it back on, the party chat wasn't working.
And it's not working in a unique way to me as well. My green circle is there, along with anyone else in the party, but mine is the only one that will light up on my end and no one else can hear me, nor can I hear them. They know I'm in the party, but otherwise
I can't interact with them. Not only that, but I won't get any kind of notification ever from anyone that sends me a message or invite. I've tried multiple times even after reseting my Xbox to no avail. Messages come through, and they'll appear inside my friends
list, but I won't know until I actually go to the friends menu. Party and game invites just disappear. Other people can get my invite and messages though. Checked my settings, and they're the same, and I'm still supposed to get notifications from them. Game
chat still works, although I've only tried the Destiny Beta and Titanfall. Anyone have advice to offer me?

I am sorry about your problems. Here are some things and steps that may help you.

If your NAT type is moderate or strict, which may be the problem to your connection problems, here is a link which will guide you through some solutions as to how

you can fix it.

On the the other hand, if these solutions fail to help your NAT type and or connection, I suggest you call up your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and explain

to them the problems you are facing. After having done this, you should request them for new router if they haven't said they will send you one already.

Most ISPs send routers out for free, on the other hand if your ISP do not send you a router, free of expenses, I suggest you buy a new router.

Not able to contact friends

Check your NAT type. Go to Settings, All Settings then Network. In the middle of the page it will have a bunch of information, one will say NAT type. If it's strict or moderate then you may well find you run into problems with online gaming and/or chat/party
features.

If it's anything other than open you can follow
THIS GUIDE to help rectify it.

 

It's a Nat issue, if it's set to strict you'll need to either change it on your router yourself or contact your ISP to get them to change it for you. You'll need it set to open. A Moderate setting could work some of the time but you'll still have issue's
from time to time. Set your Nat type on your router to open if you don't these issue's will never go away I'm sorry to say. A Strict Nat type will cause issue's with multi player games, messaging, and voice communication. These are all the issue's you are
having.

 

Teredo IP is for IPv6 over IPv4 and your router is having a problems with IPv6 or won't open Port 3544(UDP/TCP).

Superhugmonkey, I know that it's a NAT issue. Merlwiz, I know what IPv6 is, and I don't have it. I also forwarded that port along with others, along with setting up a DMZ, to no avail. Now, if there's something anyone thinks I missed, feel free to mention
it. I might have missed or messed up a setting while trying to fix it.

 

You have done all the necessary things, i would suggest some basic stuff.

1. console connected in the power socket, not extension cord.

2. reboot console ( hold power for 10 sec )

3. restart router.

4. run console in save mode ( eject + power for 10 ) - if issue is resolved - reboot console 1 more time and change display settings back to normal.

Also if there is an option to have console connected with an Ethernet cable - do that. If still the same issue - take console to the friends place, test connection there, if it works - u can be sure issue is with ur local network, if on a different notwork
issue is still there - exchange the console.

I believe that you already took the console back to factory? When exactly did that started happening, right after console was bought of after some kind of update?

 

That modem you have is a "gateway" ?.......if so , even in "bridge mode" it can be ....."funky" , this was my problem anyway , the people at Netgear had me get a modem only ( I got a netgear one so the modem people couldn't blame the router people and visa-versa)
and problem solved..... and if you try that , reset the router to defaults as you shouldn't need to change any settings of forward any ports.....
