    Strict NAT Type on Windows 10


    Okay, so I don't know why whenever I go to my Xbox Networking settings in my Windows 10 PC my NAT Type is always strict:-

    This prevents me from joining my friend's Minecraft: Bedrock Edition worlds. It always says "Unable to Connect" which, after doing some research, found out was because my NAT Type was strict. Anyone knows how to change my NAT Type to Good or Open? Thanks in Advance.

    Okay, it may be down to your NAT Type being strict or moderate. Have a look at the

    Nat Type Strict (Or Moderate)     to find out if you have a strict or moderate NAT Type, and how to resolve it.

    Hello Josef,

    This is on Windows 10. I don't have another network I can test on. The NAT type was set to Strict. After doing some research on a fix for this, I found one that reduced it to Moderate, which fixed the issue. I completely forgot about NAT. Much appreciated.

    Are both consoles connected to the same router?

    Not every router supports multiple usage of Xbox LIVE at the same time.

    If there is a "Designed for Windows..."-sticker on it, it should work.

    I ve done that. So now when i go to settings in windows to xbox network my Nat type is Strict - Teredo cannot qualify after the check, the Teredo is Enabled and Im connected .. When I run Forza i still cant reach the servers and the Nat type is again
    strict.
