Strict nat type on my xbox one

I keep.getting a stict nat type on my xbox ive been on the phone with xbox and my internet provider, nothing seems to help.. so I have full internet service says everthing.is up and running perfectly BUT I still cant get my nat type to change ive even got
a new router!! and I cant play multiplayer or xbox chat or even netflix!!!! My gamertag is im a previous customer.. I just want my *** to work...

My nat type was open on Xbox360 and for some reason is strict on Xbox one? Can any help me and tell me how to get my nat type off strict?

Why is my xbox one nat type always strict? It's never strict on my 360, in fact it's hardly ever even moderate.

what are you using for a modem and a router ? (brand and model numbers)

 

Yes.I have tried the steps. Xbox and.mediacom support even tried a bunch of stuff and so far nothing has worked, they thought it might be my router but I went out and got a new one and same.problem....

 

I have a linksys ac1200+ router

 

Ive also had my internet hardwired into my xbox and still.strict nat type

 

I also have a.modem.from.mediacom.

 

what is the exact name and model of the modem , it may also be a router and that might be the problem....

 

It says xtreme.on the front... on the back it says technicolor and the model number is TC8717

 

That's your problem , you are using 2 routers...the first device has to be JUST a modem with no NAT......and the Technicolor is notoriously bad as far as xbox is concerned....see if your isp offers a modem ONLY of if they can put that one in "bridge mode"
disabling the router functions.....or you could return it to them and get your own modem and stop paying rent on that one....

 

you can also try and plug the xbox into the Technicolor and see how it acts but that one is known to cause issues with xbox....

 

I.unplugged my.router so. The technicolor is.the only one running at.the.moment.. and we did have it.hardwired and.still.strict nat.type

 

you need to reboot the technicolor and the xbox and check it again ...that technicolor is NOT a good device for xbox live , other than that you can try to forward all the ports , but if its still strict at that point your isp is doing it , xbox dosent control
NAT , it only reports what it is....
