Strict NAT: Network behind a port symmetric NAT

Have tried countless times and spent countless hours trying to fix what was simple on the Xbox 360 and yet extremely difficult on the Xbox One.

Router brand & model number: Linksys E4200

Wired or wireless: Wireless

Things you have tried: Port Forwarding, Firewall, DMZ, Restarting Router & Modem, Restarting Xbox, Moved Multiple Times

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown Yes

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? Strict, Status Code: 0x40002000054

Update, no settings have changed.

Have strict nat again, detailed nat is "your network is behind a port preserving port symmetric nat.

 

Putting your XBox into the DMZ on a linksys router means all ports are forwarded to the xbox, unless there are specific ports under the applications tab. If you are still not even to a moderate NAT after putting it in the DMZ that means the modem or ISP
is messing with something. One thing you can try is an online port scanner to see if the ports are open. you can use

pentest-tools.com/.../tcp-port-scanner-online-nmap NOTE: Only Scan your personal external IP address, scanning an IP you do not own is illegal, you can find your external IP (if the site doesn't detect it) whatsmyip.org. And turn off Ping Host before scanning.
When scanning something like 3074, put it in the range as 3074 - 3074 for a single port.

Scan for the ports listed in the xbox support, 500, 3074, etc. If the report says "filtered" it means that port is open but no data could be received (normal) if the report says the host is down it means the port is not open. If the port is not open, even
with it in the DMZ, that means your ISP is blocking it.
