    Can anyone help me I've been using my X1 fine but recently it stopped connecting to WIFI at my house and I have no idea what to do. I've tried changing all the settings and restarting router but it still doesn't work.

    Unable to connect to party chat at all on Xbox One. NAT type always strict and "Can't get a Teredo IP address" error testing multiplayer connection.

    Yes, NAT type shows strict and testing the multiplayer connection yields this error: 'Can't get a Teredo IP address'

    Port forwarding question

    Well I have an open NAT on the dashboard. I had strict in COD until I put the X1 into the DMZ.

    Been open in dash and in COD since. Tested last night again. Good thing is it is hardly going to matter this generation with dedicated servers the norm!

    Try hard resetting the console and disconnecting from the wifi then connect back.

    Try hard resetting the console and disconnecting from the wifi then connect back.

    Teredo is unable to qualify

    If you can’t hear your friends online, or you can’t join or host an Xbox Live multiplayer game, go to
    Network > Settings in the Xbox app and check
    NAT type    .

    If it says Teredo is unable to qualify, your PC is unable to obtain a Teredo IP address.

    Teredo is a networking protocol that’s used to establish secure communications between clients and servers, and to facilitate connectivity between devices behind routers that use network address translation
    (NAT).

    Failure to obtain a Teredo IP address can occur when there’s an issue with your Teredo adapter, when a device on your network is blocking the Teredo protocol, or if there’s software installed on your PC
    that’s disabling Teredo functionality. Without a Teredo IP address, you’ll be unable to use party chat or do multiplayer gaming on Xbox Live.
