Strict NAT can't connect to party

It keeps telling me that I can't connect to party and i was told to check my NAT and its strict, is this why?

Two Consoles Same Network, both have open NAT?? Am I missing something?

The wired console can't connect to DHCP and has a strict NAT

The wireless console is fine, open NAT.

Open Nat - Still No Party

I believe I have opened NAT finally. When I test my connection it shows it connects to live and no longer gives the strict NAT message. But it also doesnt have a Open NAT message either. Not sure if it should.

But I'm still having issues connecting with my friend via party invite. He can't connect to me, I can't connect to him. He also claims to have open NAT. I only have to Live buddies and the other friend doesn't play very often.

I hate to ask, but I was wondering if someone could invite me as a friend and try to invite me to a party? Someone who knows their party usually works.

We are trying to play castle crashers.

Yes, this could be why. I would test your multiplayer connection. When its done, do not A. Hit all the bumpers and the triggers at the same time. A detailed NAT screen will load. Look for the detailed NAT, it may be behind a cone, or something like this.
Hit B. Run the test again. Do the same thing again with the bumpers. This may change your NAT to moderate or open. If this does not work, you may have to open ports on your modem or router. Also, some games require ports to be forward too.

most likely due to strict NAT issues.

I never had a problem until I had to change my connected IP from my xbox which gives my ethernet a strict NAT for some reason. When that happens I sometimes can't connect to people's platoons or parties unless there is someone else hosting it.

So if you are getting kicked from Party's and have problems connecting to party's it could be a NAT issue. I would suggest testing your connection and see if you get a Nat warning if you do check out the article below it should help.

Either you and or some of the people in party have a moderate or strict NAT.

Run the Live connection test and post your results.

The issue you may be having is that your NAT may be set to strict, or your party member's NAT may be.
