Strict NAT and 0x8004804E error

What Country/State/Province do you live in? Kansas, USA

I can't answer for the number of devices hooked up to routers, and what those routers actually are. I feel like this is half my problem, because all of your support does not fit for being in an apartment that provides the internet service.

Things you have tried: Renaming the console, setting a static IP and DNS. I've searched a variety of forums, restarted the xbox multiple times, and tried clearing the MAC address.

Is UPnP Enabled? Unknown

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? Yes, it says Strict

Any Error Codes you encounter: 0x8004804E

Who is your ISP?(Internet Service Provider): Cox Communications.



I'm sorry if this is a repeat problem, but I've searched for awhile and tried a few things and nothing has worked so far.

I have had an xbox one for 6 months, and have had no real issues signing into xbox live and playing online. This past Sunday, I was kicked out of Live. I was able to log in again (for 3 minutes) later that night, but not again since.

When I try the "Test Network Connection" it says "It's all good!" and yet I cannot connect to xbox live.

I tried the "Test Multiplayer Connection" and it brings up a Teredo IP address message. I held down the 4 bumpers, and under the Detailed NAT info it eventually says "Your network is behind a firewall (or not connected)." I could certainly use any help,
especially since I don't have access to the router systems the campus uses.

Your network is behind port restricted NAT

Does your NAT actually say STRICT or MODERATE when you run network test or are you going by the advanced test where it'll say open but also give an error code for port restricted NAT. If its the later, you'll get that error code when you hook to a router because the router is handling your NAT and x1 sees it as a filter, even though its not really filtering your necessary ports for Xbox live. If its the former, yea, you need to see Xbox forums as xstasis recommends.
