Sadly, when they made the deal with Sony for SFV, it included a provision for SFIV as well - so, no, you won't see it on BC.

 

Cheers for the info, GG. Not to worry because I still have my 360 set up...BC would have been more convenient though! I even have my original Xbox set up for Guilty Gear X2, Capcom vs SNK 2 EO and MvsC 2 lol!!!

 

If I get this game it would be after the free story update arrives later this year.

 

Spoiler alert, ChunLi has a gender reassignment operation and Zangief admits to being overpowered and a fondness for undies 5 sizes too small. Seriously, the stories are so bad in street fighter it actually makes King Of fighters sound good.

SF have not sold systems since the SNES days. I don't know if this plan SONY will work. Sony would have better chance moving systems by making MGS5 PS only then SF5.

 

You're right I bought my PS4 for The Last Of Us, The Uncharted Collection, Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, Final Fantasy VII remake, as well as Street Fighter V along with the many other exclusives that I enjoy on that system.

 

I bought my ps4 at launch largely for games that aren't out yet. I do play it a bit for baseball or a couple other games but there's months where I don't touch it at all

 

@Dakrkplayer2 (Were you been?), The metal gear series finished with MGS4, MGS5 TPP was a fill in after Peace Walker. MGSV is easily my favorite game from last year though I'm a big MGS fan. Finding Pax blew my mind! The MGS stories are absolutely brilliant
and I'm glad it was on XB1. MGS4 was only made due to fans insisting Konami did this. we have a severe lack of diversity here and I'm afraid this will stay the same. I'll be honest with you, I don't think Sony worries too much about nintendo or MS. SF series
was originally on snes, genesis,3D0, Sega Saturn and Playstation, the survivor was playstation. I think we need to do a reality check and realize not to expect too much diversity in the XB1, particularly with foreign games. For what we do have the console
is doing quite well, as I said before, PS friends also own the XB1 for XB1 exclusives, So why do we need to be so stubborn as Xb1 owners?

 

RedEye Expr3ss I just taking past when STREET FIGHTER was really talked about. And it was really talked about the SNES days. Those days the talk on COD and BATTLEFILED. Shooter are the thing in gaming world then fighting. I see more shooter then fighter's
from developers. Not every developer are jumping in the fighting game arena then back in the SNES days of console. And I see the future the talk will be on something else. And not shooters. A COD game will sale more on one console then a fighting game
would in the same time period when it been out in the market. That why you really want to multi platform a fighting game from a third party developers. But a shooting game that has the COD and BATTLEFILED can get sales of one brand console. if they made
that game one for that brand of console. People will go to that console for that said shooter in a heart beat. A fighter game. The younger gen gamer don't care as much then out gen does with those ip's. Younger gen only care about COD.

 

SF4 shifted over 8 million copies across all versions/platforms, not including the PS4 release. It also sold significantly more on PS3 than 360, it's a wildly popular franchise. I don't think you need to worry about Sony's reasons for backing it, it will
turn a profit and sell a few more consoles regardless.

 

Oh I %100 think Street fighter should be on XB1 and PC eventually and it's naive for me to think everyone can afford multiple consoles. So maybe the demographics of the street fighter players wouldn't want an extra console? Street fighter 2 on the SNES was
awesome BTW Even as a multi platform player I'd be more than happy to see equality in games that should be cross platform, street fighter is a great example. I'm waiting for KOF98 to get BC on the Xb1 more than waiting for sf5 tbh.

 

My comment was at Dakrk but I get your point. I'm just glad the game is coming out at all, just like Bayonetta 2 it needed somebody to inject cash into it and Sony stepped up, SFV was in limbo with talk of F2P and P2W models and it deserves better.

 

So...is Street Fighter V coming to XBOX One.....and god we have been waiting for a new BOXING GAME!!!!!! Come on Microsoft. When are you going to make another FIGHT NIGHT!!!! it seems Microsoft has walked away from the games that we truly enjoy!!!!!!

 

Enforcedcharles FIGHT NIGHT is owned by EA. You should take that to them not MS. MS does not owned the right to the game at all. And from my understanding. Real fighting game are more going to UFC part and not the PRO BOXING. BOXING is not have niche to
that part of sports for good time. People are more into MMA those days then BOXING.
