Street Fighter V

Obviously I've known from the get-go this was only going to be a PS4 and PC game but seeing as it's only a week away from release and it looks absolutely belting, it saddens me that I'll probably never get to play it!!! Maybe MS could compensate us fans
by making Street Fighter IV AE/UE or MvsC 2 or 3 backwards compatible.

At least we still have a couple of great beat 'em ups in Killer Instinct and MKX. I've not tried the under advertised but overpriced latest Blazblue game but I have the 360 iterations.

Sigh....

Are we ever getting Street Fighter 5?

Maybe we will get it on x1 as a different version instead of just Street Fighter V, maybe they will call it Ultra Street Fighter V, or Street Fighter V Arcade Edition instead. Look how many version of Street figher IV was release.

we need a tekken brought in, not interested in that dull street fighter that does not really change over time.

I would assume Tekken will grace the Xbox One at some point, definitely 1 of my all time favourite franchises since first playing back on PS1.

 

We already have the most technically accomplished Fighter on console in "DOA Ultimate Last Round".

Unfortunately that corporate greed has soured the pot with the game being sold in small pieces and with DLC that totals almost a grand.

I'm not surprised people are put off.

How long are Sony renting "Street Fighter" for anyways?

A few months or an entire gen? Remember how excited everyone was for "Street Fighter IV" and talked about it for months?

People dropped that one like a stone and weren't even discussing it midweek after launch.

The original Street Fighters will always be classics but who wants to throw a Haddoken when you can throw a Rasengan.

 

I haven't bought a Street Fighter game since Super Street Fighter Turbo on the SNES, it was awsome.

 

It's not up to MS to make Street Fighter IV BC, it's down to Capcom. If Capcom are on board it could come, if not, you'll be out of luck. Best to contact them instead. I'm not fussed, I already own SFIV on my PC - which looks and plays great by the way.
I wouldn't mind Tekken 6 being BC and the SoulCalibur games, but that's up to Namco Bandai Games to approve.

Its a new SF game coming out next week, I loved SF back in the day and remember going past 100 attempts trying to beat Bison on the SNES but I bought it for the 360 and thought it was mince !!

From what I've seen MK will do for me when it comes to fighting games!

Just buy a ps4 I don't like fighting games for the most part but this is exactly why I own both so when an exclusive comes out that I want to play I can play it not go on some forum and complain that it's an exclusive

 

Yeah I could go out and flippantly buy a PS4 with SFV but I doubt the Mrs would be overly happy!!! It wasn't a complaint or a moan let's be honest, it was a more a musing with regards to how close to the release date is...maybe it was a self indulgent whine!

Here's a complaint and it's something which bugs me - there is a tracker bar under each achievement showing the percentage for how many enemies you have killed, for example, 60% of 500 so you know you have killed 300. Not all developers utilise this and
it frustrates the heck out of me! I like achievements. But that is all I can really moan about re my Xbox.

 

Just went through the trophy list, Capcom certainly want you to play their games for 600 hours. I look at it like this, we have KI and many of my PS friends want to play that so they've gone and bought an XB1. I wish we had more competition tbh.

 

Ahh it is threads like this that make me glad I own both systems. My collector's edition of SF V will be here on the 16th.
